Episode 8

Y/N's POV

We were at the shooting location for Jin's next music video and everyone was busy preparing for the shoot. Naturally, I got busier with my work and I did my best to make sure that Jin didn't get affected by the stressful schedule. I took care of everything. I did my job well, both as his Assistant and as his wife.

No One's POV

Jin decided to go out for a walk. He walked out of the hotel. It was a bit late but his crew members were still out, discussing the schedule for the next day or just enjoying the scenery. He looked around and saw a few girls staring at him flirtatiously. Though it was nothing new to him, he still felt a bit weird since things were different now.

Jin:(mumble)Don't they realise that I'm married now? Speaking of marriage, where is she?

His eyes searched through the crowd until he finally found her.

She was sitting in a corner, all by herself. She was really focused on her
work. He slowly approached her. Seeing her always made him feel relieved, it felt peaceful. Her presence somehow comforted him. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders.

She looked up at him shocked but he didn't quit staring at her face that looked beautiful under the light of the moon as her eyes reflected the bright stars in the sky.

Jin found himself lost in her eyes and it felt like something was pulling him towards Y/N and he let himself get drawn towards her. With every passing moment, Y/N was breaking the thick walls that surrounded his heart, preventing him from realising what it felt like to fall in love.

He snapped out of it when Y/N broke eye contact and pursed her lips together nervously while tugging a
strand of hair behind her ear. Jin sat beside her on a chair.

Y/N's POV

Jin:Aren't you cold?
Y/N:I just didn't realise it was cold out here, till now.

It was true, I was so into my work that I didn't realise that my whole body was freezing since I was wearing nothing except a shirt.

Jin:It seems that my wife is more of a workoholic rather than me.

Jin didn't realise what he just said and his expression remained unchanged while Y/N's heart began banging in her chest so hard.

Y/N:I was just making some arrangements for tomorrow's shoot.
Jin:But why are you here all by yourself? Don't you have any friends among the staff?

I froze at his question.

Y/N:W-Well nobody really talks to me unless it's concerned to work so
I'm all by myself most of the time.
Jin:And things only got worse after the marriage, huh? No need to hide anything from me. I've seen how they look at you, as if they're trying to stab you with their eyes. Their gazes are cruel and judging. It makes me sick knowing that people like that exist.
Y/N:It's alright, I don't mind.
Jin:You're just too soft
Y/N:I don't believe I am, I can be rough when necessary.
Jin:I don't believe it, you're soft.
Y/N:No I'm not.
Jin:Yes you are.
Y/N:No, I'm not.
Jin:Yes, you are.
???:(ahem)

The two of us turned to look at Mr. Go. We didn't realise that our faces were so close to each other now and we immediately backed away from each other.

Mr. Go:If you two are done with your little couple fight then I must remind you that it's late and Mrs. Kim asked me to make sure that you two don't overwork yourselves. So both of you get to your rooms, NOW.

We did as he said since Mr. Go is really strict sometimes and none of us
argued as we both walked to our rooms.

Jin couldn't help but glance at Y/N the whole time they walked beside each other. A shy smile appeared on Jin's lips as both of their hands brushed against each other while walking.

Mr. Go smiled sweetly as he stared at both of them returning to their rooms.
