Episode 9

Y/N's POV

After the shooting was over, I was resting in my room when I heard a knock. I opened the door and I was surprised to see Jin in his Alpaca pyjamas.

Y/N:Can I help you? Why are you up this late?
Jin:Don't start acting like Mr. Go now. Can I come inside? It's really cold out here.
Y/N:S-Sure. So what is it?
Jin:Nothing, it's just too dark outside and it's raining as well so I thought
that you might be scared from all that thunder. We're married now and
it's my responsibility to take care of you. So, I thought I should sleep beside you tonight. You can thank me later.

He patted my shoulder and I just stood there dumbfounded.

Y/N:Jin, you're not being honest. Tell me, why are you here?

He stared at me confused while I stared back at him with my arms crossed.

Jin:W-What do you mean? (pfft)Of course I'm being honest with you. Why would you think that I'm lying?
Y/N:Your ears, they turn red when you're lying.
Jin:It's just because of the cold.

He said while covering his ears as I chuckled. I am a true fan, 😏of course I know about your habits Seokjin and I swear I won't let you get away without knowing the truth.

Y/N:If you say so. But I think I'm gonna be just fine, you don't have to stay here. Besides, my bed isn't that comfortable. You won't be able to sleep comfortably in here.
Jin:It's ok, I don't mind. I don't think you should sleep alone, cause if you get scared by the thunder then there won't be anyone to comfort you.
Y/N:I'm not scared of petty things like that so you can go back to your room,
unless you're scared to sleep alone in there because of the weather.
Jin:Not a chance, I'm too pretty to be scared-Ahhhhh

He screamed like a girl as the thunder struck.

Y/N:Oh Jin you never changed, did you? You're still scared of the thunder.

I began laughing at his behavior. Once again, Jin found himself being captivated. He watched in a daze as  Y/N laughed. It was indeed the first time he'd seen her laugh. It made him smile as well and he looked away shyly.

Y/N:So, which side of the bed would you prefer?
Jin:Anywhere would do, I'm just so tired right now that I just want to lay down.

He laid down on the bed and so did I. It wasn't the first time we'd shared a bed but it did feel different. I slowly dozed off.

I woke up early, out of habit and stared at his face like I always do. He began shifting his positions and he seemed a bit restless. It was early morning so it was chilly outside. I covered him with the blanket but he didn't seemed to feel any better. His body was freezing so I decided to warm him up with my body heat.

I wrapped my arms around him and bought him closer. He seemed to relax a bit. I couldn't abstain myself from running my hand through his soft hair. I caressed his back and I don't know why but whenever I touched him, I got so overwhelmed and my
emotions were a mess as I was reminded of the fact that he might never love me but I just wanted to convey my feelings to him through these little actions. I rested my forehead against his and whispered.

Y/N:I love you and I wish that...I wish that you had loved me too. But
I know that I'm nothing more than just a burden to you.

I just can't handle it anymore, I got up and ran to the bathroom and sobbed
silently. I had to let out my emotions. I've been bottling them up for so long
that my heart aches so much.

Little did she know that she wasn't the only one in tears that morning.

Mrs. Kim:Y/N!!!

She hugged me as soon as I entered the house while Jin just stood there with a pout.

Jin:What about me? Am I not getting any hugs?

She hugged him as well. Later, all of us had dinner together. It felt nice since all of us finally laughed and had fun together just like a family.
