Natalie Prior in Dauntless Initiation

This is my first post on Wattpad.. So please, I'd appreciate some feedback on this fan fiction and if I should continue it!

Well that was a rush of adrenaline. I've done that a bunch of times and today it just felt better. I guess the effect of the wind blowing in my hair as I jumped off the train in full excitement is probably what made it better than all the other times I did it. I am Dauntless born. So this is no surprise to me. However, it's quite entertaining seeing the other initiates from other factions jumping off the train. 

We get to the Pit where we meet up with our Dauntless Leader Elisa. She takes initiation very seriously. She's a very strict woman and if her rules are not followed, you will be severely punished. She seems to be in a good mood today. That's surprising. I wonder what's up with her....

Later that night, we played capture the flag. The transfers weren't as used to it as us, which is why Elisa decided to even the teams with equal amount of strengths.

I talked to a few transfers in my team. They seemed nice, but some of them don't look like they're ready for Dauntless initiation. They don't look like they have the skill. But, it's not my job to judge them, so I'll leave that to Elisa.

We ended up winning the game of capture the flag that night. It was surprising to see a transfer capture the flag and not a Dauntless born. Seems like we have some competition.

I go to the dorms after breakfast. No one was very social this morning, so I wasn't in the mood of staying. 

Our first task of initiation is today. Elisa is now going to announce who we're going up against. 

"Natalie and Lisa are our first initiates to fight."

I'm thrilled yet satisfied that I'm up against Lisa. I've seen how she fights. I know her weaknesses, and to be quite honest, she isn't that good of a fighter.

Lisa bumps her shoulder hard into my arm when he walks by me. I can see she's ready to take me. 

"Fight!" Elisa exclaims. 

Lisa dashes straight to me, but I dodge her by shifting to my left side. I grab her right arm and pull it up above her head. When I have her arm in a lock, and her rib cage exposed, I kick her and she collapses to the floor. She's unconscious. I feel bad. I didn't mean to make her go to the infirmary. But, it seems like Elisa was impressed because she nodded her head and complemented on my skill in combat.

Later that night I go to visit Lisa.

She looks at me when I enter. She says to me," don't worry, I'll get you back tomorrow." in a friendly voice.

I apologized to Lisa for hurting her in her rib cage. The doctor said I bruised her bottom rib, and that if I kicked her any harder I would have broke it. I tell Lisa goodnight and I hope she feels better and exit the room silently but satisfied at the job I've done. 

As soon as I close the door and start walking to the dorms, something grabs my mouth and pulls me to the floor. All I feel is someone banging my head on the concrete floor.

Then, everything goes black.
