Tris' mom in Dauntless Initiation Part 2

When I awake, all I see are blurred faces. I can make out one voice, it's Matthew. The thought of his voice scares me. He's a very talented fighter and might consider me as a threat. I make out who the other voice is. It's Zaya. She's been jealous of everything I do. My fighting skills, my strategies in Capture the Flag. Everything. I try to look like I'm still unconscious, but when I regain full strength I get up immediately and punch both of them in the face and run. I run to Elissa's office. I bang and bang until she finally opens the door! I tell her everything. I don't know why, but I always had this feeling Elissa was out to get me, but now she's giving me advice and it feels like she's my second mother. She tells me I can stay here tonight.

The next morning I look at who I'm up against. Great.

"Natalie and Matthew", Elissa announces.

I think of the advice Elissa gave me last night. And I get it now. In some way she was trying to prepare me for fighting one if the deadliest fighter in Dauntless. I remember her strategy she told me about. Don't ever make the first move. 

I waited until Matthew swung his fist as me and I ducked and punched his rib cage. He kicked me on my thigh and I showed no pain. When I got back on my feet, I have him an uppercut and he fell backwards. Matthew got up and charged at me and kicked my shoulder blade with a lot of force. It feels like I've lost all control of my left arm. But that doesn't stop me.

I punch and dive to kick his back and I succeed. He falls to the floor moaning in pain. I join him. Zaya stares at me in disgust. I'm sure she's plotting her revenge.

Later that night Matthew was in his bed unable to move. However, Zaya was doing the work for him. When I was walking down that hall with Sabrina, she came out of nowhere and punched my in the nose and I started bleeding. Sabrina punched her on her upper chest and then when Zaya flinched, I grabbed her throat and start closing my hand tightly. She starts to run out of air.

Elissa sees and runs towards us to make me stop. I obey her orders since I respect her. 

I'm guessing she frightened of me now because every time she sees me and Sabrina she runs the opposite way. 

Laura comes to find me to tell me that Elissa is looking for me. I walk to Elissa's office and when I open it, I cannot believe what I see.
