chapter 5

My heart is racing, my head starts to pound. I fell my body ache as my heart sinks to my feet, i want to scream but i can't. At this moment here and now, i was ready to die. i grabbed on my shopping cart started waking away but he kept chasing me. Eventually i got to the point of running with the grocery cart obviously him behind me kept trying to get my attention, I know i couldn't grow a pair and talk to him, But something told me to keep running. As i dash through every aisle i hear a familiar voice call my name. Saved by the bell, it's no other than my sister. "Constance" i scream aloud " pretend me and you are in a conversation right fucking now!" "okay?" she says questioning herself. We start talking and moving together but every where i go he follows. Eventually we run into my sisters husband. We called him over to chat. Ezra grew some balls and made his way up to us. "Ezra!" my sister exclaims and uses her fingers to call him over, "how are you i haven't heard from you in soo long" my sister said. "I'm doing great how are you" he says. I heard his deep raspy morning voice, he's so beautiful i think to myself. "I'm amazing, actually i don't believe you two have met" she leans and pulls Oscar.  " This is my husband Oscar". Oscar reached out his hand and gestures like he wants to shake Ezras. "actually if you don't mind i really wanted to talk to ilene" Ezra said . " Of course and don't be stranger you should come by and have dinner one night " said constance "i'm going to take you up on that" Ezra smiles as she pushes her buggy away with her husband by her side. "She hasn't changed one bit" he glared at me. At this moment here, my heart starts to race and my tummy is in a twist. I just wanted grab him and ask him why he left me, why didn't he love me in ways i loved him. But i couldn't. "yeah" i reply to him, But he insisted on this conversation so he broke some tension " So Monty said your coming to the waterpark, i gave you a plus one! who are you bringing ?". This is my time, to prove to everyone i'm not in love with him. " I think i'm going to bring my boyfriend" i say as i reach for the tomato sauce. I peek over at him from the side of my eyes, i see him looked confused. "That's great he says", "make sure you bring snacks and stuff, me and Gee will cater for the kids " he says sternly. " he starts to walk away "by the way you look great he says with his back towards me as he walks away down the aisle. I look at the back of the T shirt, and it's one from a concert we went to way back. It says Guns and roses on the back. I remember that night like it was yesterday, we had blue jeans and we each bought t shirts there. we went in the stadium and just danced our hearts out, he put me on his shoulders so i could see, I actually got to touch axel as he crowd. Some nights were magical and others were terrifying. In the end it was always us. I will always love him, i head to the check out and watch him strap his step son in the car through the giant window at the cashier. I look down to see a text one my phone ......
