**Just be warned there is torture and blood mentioned in this chapter**
Your POV
Well. This sucks. You knew he was going to torture you, but your mind still wasn't 100% prepared for the extreme pain to come.
Karai had you tied by your hands and ankles to a chair. She was walking slowly around you, brandishing a knife.
"Father asked me to come in here first, give you a chance to change your mind," she said. You kept quiet, tracking her with your eyes as she prowled around the room. She stopped at the wall in front of you and pushed on a stone, making the wall pop open and reveal full shelves of knives, weapons, and things she could use to torcher you with.
"So are you going to tell me where the freaks are? Or do I have to force it out of you?" She asked. You kept your head down and didn't answer. Before you could think, she was in front of you and yanked your head backwards, slapping you across the face. You just bit your cheek and didn't react.
"Pain is only in the mind," you reminded yourself, ignoring the stinging of your cheek. Karai scowled and grabbed her knife again, bringing it to your throat.
"I'm only asking you one more time. Where. Are. They?" She growled. You just kept your face blank and once again kept silent. She growled and pushed the knife down onto your one shoulder, easily piercing the suit and your skin. You struggled not to cry out in pain. She dragged the knife farther across your shoulder, making around a three inch cut across, then released it. You felt the trail of blood soak the arm of your suit and run down the rest of your arm. Karai smirked.
"Fine. You don't wanna talk? Then I'll make you scream."
Leo's POV
I was running through darkness, so black I couldn't see a foot in front of me. Far off screams echoed off the walls around me. I knew instantly who they belonged to.
"Y/n!?" I called out as I continued to run. I had no clue where I was going, I just knew that I couldn't stop. I skidded around a corner, narrowly missing slamming into a wall, running down more hallways. I wasn't sure where she was, but it was like I could feel what direction she was in.
All of a sudden a light came on down the hall in front of me. I slowed down and saw Y/n tied by her wrists and ankles to a chair under the flickering light.
"Y/N!!" I yelled. She weakly lifted her head and I saw just how badly she was wounded. Cuts were littered across her entire body. Blood was covering her whole suit, seeping through and dripping onto the floor, creating a pool of scarlet under her.
"L-Leo?" She whimpered. I was about to take a step closer when a figure behind her held a knife to her throat, making her whimper as it drew a thin line of blood. I felt my own blood boil.
"Let. Her. Go," I growled. The figure came into the light. "Karai. Don't do this," I said. She smirked before quickly plunging the knife into Y/n's chest. "NO!!" I ran at her but she disappeared into the shadows.
Y/n was gasping for air as I cut loose her binds and lay her in my lap. Her eyes were fluttering, trying to stay open. I pressed on the wound, trying to stop the bleeding. But it wasn't working.
"L-Leo." She choked out. I felt tears drip down my face. She weakly reached up a hand to place on my cheek. I held it there with my own.
"L-Leo." She said again.
"I'm here. You're going to be fine," I whispered. She coughed, and blood seeped through her lips.
"Leo. I-...I-... I love-..." and that was it. Her hand fell to the ground as she breathed her last breath. I started to panic.
"No!! No. Y/n!! You can't do this to me!!" I cradled her body close to my plastron as my tears fell rapidly.
Then all of a sudden, she was gone, only a pool of red sat where she just was, as the lights illuminated the room. Shredders throne room.
I opened my eyes with a start and shot up. I ran my shaking hands over my face and felt real tears on my cheeks. Letting out a shaky sigh, I looked at the clock. 3am. I swung my legs off the bed and left my room, only to see Master Splinter's room light on. I frowned and went to his door. Knocking gently, I entered to find him meditating. His eyes opened when he heard me enter.
"Leonardo. Why are you awake my son?" I sat across from him, still shaking slightly.
"A dream, Master," I replied. He hummed in thought.
"About our missing Y/n?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yes Sensei. But-... it just seemed so real. Like it was actually happening," I said. He stroked his beard in thought.
"I can feel her spirit. She is in danger. Her spirit cries for help and seems uneasy," he sighed. "I told her I felt she was in danger. She took my warning, but it seems she is still in danger." He looked at me. "The way you describe your dream seems more to me like a vision."
"I know. I felt it too."
"Did it show you anything else of importance? Another person? A location? Anything?" He pressed me. I nodded.
"I saw Y/n. She was tied to a chair, bleeding. Karai was there. She stabbed Y/n right in front of me. She-... she died, in my arms," my voice cracked. "Then I saw a location. It was the Shredders throne room." I shuddered. "She's in pain, Sensei." He hummed in response.
"I know, my son." I glanced up at him. He continued to stroke his beard in thought. "I will meditate on this new information. You and your brothers need to track down her location and form a plan. It is very dangerous to infiltrate Shredders lair as they expect you to come. So you will need to do the unexpected." He advised. I nodded and he gave a gentle smile before standing up and patting my shoulder. "She is very strong, my son. She will make it." I forced a tight lipped smile.
"Thank you, father."
