I changed the POV in this chapter just cause this POV is easier for me. Also remember these are the BayVerse turtles but with lots of the 2012 turtles traits
Mikey's POV
When the smallest brother saw your heart stop and his older brothers hop into action, he couldn't take it anymore and quickly escaped the lab, going to his own room and locking the door.
The orange banded turtle was curled up in a ball on his bed, his hands wrapped around his knees as he leaned against the wall, tears streaming down his face and soaking his mask.
"I can't believe this," he whispered to himself. Although the youngest brother was known to be thick headed sometimes, he was more than old enough to know that what just happened meant that Y/n literally just died. On the table. I'm front of them all.
He sniffled to himself and lay his head down on his pillow, not bothering to take off his armour or tear soaked mask. He soon found himself asleep from the exhaustion of the nights events.
~~~He woke up to his tears dried hard on his face, his mask still damp from him crying. He sighed and sat up, curling his knees to his chest again.
He didn't sleep all that well, visions of Y/n's heart stopping and her dying plagued his dreams turning them into nightmares. He saw her tied up on the cell with blood pooling around her as him and his brothers failed to save her.
But he just couldn't shake the fact that she-... died-... right in front of them. He shook his head to clear those thoughts from them and stood up, walking to his room door and unlocking it. He quietly opened it and poked his head out, looking for any sign of his brothers.
"Not here." He thought to himself after seeing the dark and quiet lair. He snuck as quietly as he could out to the door of the lab to see if his brothers were in there. On his way past Y/n's room, he noticed sniffling coming from it. He peeked around the corner to see his oldest brother sitting on her bed with a blue paper in his hands, tears streaming down his cheeks as he quietly sobbed. Mikey bit his lip in thought.
Should he just leave? He didn't want to upset Leo by eavesdropping on his privacy.
So Mikey did all he could. He snuck back to his room, closing the door but leaving it unlocked this time. He sat on his bed and sighed, rubbing his face with his hands.
"How did we let this happen?" He thought to himself. He sighed again and leaned against the wall.
"She's gotta be okay. She just has to be okay." He told himself out loud. He knew that Y/n was strong. Dealing with all that she had on her world, then adjusting to a move to a completely new world.
As he scolded himself for not getting to her sooner, he heard a knock at his door. He picked his head up and looked at it.
"Yeah," he called softly. His door opened to reveal none other than the red banded turtle himself.
"Hey Mikey," he sighed softly. Mikey gave a sad smile.
"Hi." Raph entered his room and sat down next to Mikey, putting his head in his hands and leaning onto his knees.
"How ya holding up?" He said, his voice muffled by his hands. Mikey sighed and curled his knees back up.
"I'm fine," he whispered. Raph looked at him.
"Mikey." He said gently. Mikey looked at him, his baby blues full of tears. Raph sighed and shuffled around until he was squished against Mikey, bringing his arm around the young brothers shoulders. Mikey half leaned into Raph, but that was hard since they were both mutant turtles with big shells on their backs.
