Adelina's POV

I work out in the gym after sleeping for a few hours. I don't have to think as I go through the motions of the structured routine. Every Unseen Nightmare learns the same basic outline of training and working out. All except the Ace's no one really knows what they do to train.

Knowing them, it definitely wasn't spending time in a gym.

We will start our family's mission tomorrow. It would be done before schedule but there was no specified time frame so we can complete it whenever we want and the sooner it's done the better in my opinion.

We would travel to Rome and complete the mission then collect the money after the mission was completed in one drop. Usually, we would wait for the first payment but I just want this mission to be over with.

Santiago laid out the plan before he went to sleep and sent me a copy of the file. It was a simple plan we've used before: go into the gang's building at their busiest time of day, kill everyone there, and then track down the members who weren't there. Simple but effective.

After I finish my work out I go and make the three of us breakfast. I'm not the best at cooking but I make us eggs and toast. Hopefully, we can smooth things over with Luka today and then be able to complete this mission without any complications.

Complications are the last thing we need right now.

Santiago walks in as quietly as ever and gives me a nod of thanks for the food. Luka would be coming soon and I have no idea what mood he will be in or if he has finally come to his senses. When he walks in he grabs his food and eats at the table with us silently. I glance at Santiago who ignores my gaze by focusing on his food.

I roll my eyes, "Luka?"

"What Ads? You want me to admit you're right? I know you are but how am I supposed to just accept that?"

"Our choice was taken away a long time ago Luka we've come to terms with it. You need to. Especially with this mission."

His eyes flash with emotion at Santiago's words then shut down. Just like we were trained. "I know and I'll do my part, don't worry about me."

I hum in acknowledgment and we discuss details about the mission for a while and work on surveillance. We send a notice that we were speeding up the timeline for the mission per the rules of The Unseen Nightmares as well. We would fly to Rome late at night, get settled and start the mission by the time the sun comes up. Once we had it all laid out in perfect detail we switch over and go through other work for Unseen Nightmares then sleep burning the time before our flight.

We pack up everything we would need and leave for our flight like the robots we were trained to be. The perfect mindset that naturally sets in the minute we begin a mission.

The plane ride is silent, every passenger either sleeping or partaking in a quiet activity. It was a short trip and we were the first ones off. We packed light knowing it would be a short trip so we walk out of the airport with just our carry-on bags. We hire a rental car using a fake ID and head straight out to the gang's headquarters. Before we leave the car we change into our assassin outfits hiding our identity.

We don't bother hacking into their system, I don't see any reason we need to. We would win against all of them in a fight so it doesn't matter if we know what's happening inside until we are inside ourselves.

We leave the car a few blocks away and stick to the shadows and away from the traffic cameras. Just like we have been trained.

We watch the building people discreetly coming in and out waiting until they were the busiest to attack. If I had the choice we would just attack now but then we would have to track down more members and I didn't want to be bothered with that extra work. Let the prey come to you, don't go to it.
