Emilio's POV

I drove us to one of our places that were far enough from headquarters but close enough to drive to. Ze hacked The Nightmares to hide our locations to ensure no one could track us with the implanted trackers. Em sat in the seat next to me studying her reflection in her reflection of her favorite dagger. Considering we were about to fight against an entire organization of assassins we were extremely bored.

"So are we thinking bombs? Slowly killing everyone one by one? Or what?"

Ze chuckles, his typing not slowing at all, "We could kill the higher-ups and then just take over The Nightmares."

Emmy smirks resting back, "Hmmm, then we could kill whoever we wanted, no rules or anything."

"It would also be nice to take our sweet time spilling their blood."

Emmy sighs happily, the fact we couldn't kill any of the higher-ups was always a struggle for us. Typically when we are faced with disrespect one of us would kill the said person immediately but killing the higher-ups was a rule we actually followed. We didn't exactly like our fellow Unseen Nightmare assassins however we could spare them and make them work for us.

"I do like you quite a lot when you aren't being an idiot." I snort quietly, it was just like my twin to turn a compliment into an insult. "So it is settled we kill the higher-ups and take over," Her grin falls into a pout, "we will still get to kill people though, right."

I affirm that we would, doubting anything could truly prevent us from killing it was our nature, it was all we were.

Emmy was the first to hop out of the car and head inside when we arrived leaving Ze and I to bring our bags in. The two of us found my twin in the kitchen with a first aid kit open and a bloody arm as she pulled out the chip with a pair of tweezers. She wore latex gloves more to protect her hands from the hassle of washing blood off rather than any sanitary reason. She dropped the chip into a jar and looked at us with a knife in hand and gestured for us to sit. She changes gloves and knives and then cuts my arm. Out of the three of us, she was the best at medicine, not that she ever practiced, due to her training in poison making, according to her, she needed to know how to build a body in order to destroy it. She easily removed the chips from our arms and stitched the two of us up.

Once she was happy with the two of us she hands me the jar to smash the chips and removes the gauze around her arm and makes Ze assist her in stitching herself up refusing to risk any sign of imperfection with her stitches.

I smashed the three chips ensuring they were completely destroyed. I throw the parts out knowing we would set it on fire in a little while and the three of us pack up the first aid kit and clean up the bloody kitchen. We hear the front door open but don't react, if it was someone coming to hurt us they wouldn't announce their presence. Ems hops up onto the counter and twirls a dagger. I wasn't sure if she intended to kill the newcomers for walking in unannounced or if she was just bored and looking for trouble. Either way, it would lead to the same result.

Ze ditches the cleaning up effort as well and I glare at him as he motions for me to go back to work with a smirk knowing I would listen. I hear him open the fridge and begin the burner on the stove making us some sort of food. Emmy was the baker in the team and Ze was the chef meaning I got good food all the time with no effort from my part.

Emmy throwing her dagger alerted me to the presence of others just as I knew it would and I turned to find The Roses in the doorway.

Adelina's POV

Finding my three baby siblings in the kitchen where one was cleaning up blood, one was cooking, and the third hurling a dagger at us all with smiles makes me begin questioning myself if we were being modest when we told our family they were a bit reckless. Right now better words to use would be unstable, insane, and definitely a little psychotic.

Emmy just shrugs in apology for almost killing one of us. The only reason she didn't was because we were used to her homicidal tendencies, well homicidal ways. "Whatever are you three doing here?"

I roll my eyes at my sister, "We've heard the news and figured you would head here."

She hums, conjuring up another dagger to play with, "Oh yes that, don't fret we're going to kill all those pesky leaders and then take over." Yeah, forget a little psychotic these three are fucking lunatics.

Luka laughs trying to convince himself that they were kidding when we all knew they weren't. His laughter dies down and Santi sighs, "And what exactly is your plan for that?"

Emmy looks over us bored and waves us off, "Track them down and then have our fun. Hmmm, or we would get them all together and then play some of our favorite games with them." She claps and with her brightened face and swinging legs she looked like an innocent child and not the killer she was all she needed was a doll to complete the look.

Ezequiel cuts in, "We'll figure it out."

I sigh and refocus on what we originally came here for, "If you're going through with this then at least cut us in." Convincing them not to go through with this plan would be impossible and while we don't like killing Luka, Santi, and I would all be okay with getting some revenge from losing our childhood to assassin training. It would also higher their chances of surviving this.

Or of course, we could all just killed attempting it.

Emmy purses her lips but shrugs, "Fine, but The Aces are in charge."

Yeah, we're all dead and now our family is going to want to get involved. Guess I should've known this was going to be a bigger mess than expected.
