The three friends

Aadi's pov
We all have been pushing for the last 5 minutes and every one of us was scared.

Coach:
"I never expected these childish things from you people. What are you all here for? You are at the most elite academy in the country and still waste your time on useless pranks. Tell me are you here to improve your game?"

All of them:
'Yes sir.'

Coach: 
"You all are here for just 2 months. instead of learning the most you could in this less time, you are just looking for ways to hurt others. I have had enough. You can all get up, go to your rooms and pack up."

After saying this, the coach left the ground.

What is this all happening? Shit, we messed up big time. I can't be thrown out of here. My dad and the coach would kill me. We all have to do something

We got up.

Lucas:
"Sorry guys."

Jack:
'We all are sorry too.'

Aadi:
"Let's apologize later and think of something to convince the coach."

Leo:
'Yeah. I think we should go to his office.'

Issac:
"That's all we can do."

We all went to the coach's office. I knocked on the door. As expected, no response from the inside. We tried again but failed. We silently stood against the wall. As it's already night, he would be leaving his office soon. We all had our heads bowed in shame. 

About half an hour after, he came out and saw us. His dangerous expression made us difficult to open our mouth. 

Coach:
"squats"

We started right away.

Coach:
"Lucas, speak

Lucas:
'Sir, we are here to apologize. We accept our mistake and promise to never repeat it. We will give our 100% and even help each other to improve. Sir, give us one last chance. We all promise that you would not regret it. Punish us, sir, but let us all be here.'

Coach:
"Does everyone here agree with him?"

Everyone:
"Yes sir."

Coach:
"Fine, this is my last warning to you all. one mistake and all of you would be kicked out. I don't care if you are responsible or innocent."

Everyone:
Thank you, sir. We will not disappoint you.

Coach:
"I already knew that it was you Lucas who wrote it on the wall. You copied the writing perfectly except for the letter 't'. Aadi writes the stem of 't' as straight and firm but it was a little angled on the wall. Also, the bar on t was higher but Aditya put it in the middle of the stem.
Also, Jack has a little yellow colour on the left hand's ring finger. I just wanted to know how long would you keep continuing this charade."

We all were still doing squats and had our faces red. Dammit, how smart is he? We all have to be more careful from now, not that we will ever prank each other again.

After 5 minutes
Coach:
"Stop. Go your rooms and sleep. Be here at 5 in the morning. Get out.

We all stopped, once again thanked him and left to our rooms. There was not even an ounce of energy left in us. So everybody just turned to their rooms.

In the room

Leo:
"Good night Aadi."

Aadi:
'Good night.'

I was deep in my thoughts when I heard a scream. I woke up in bewilderment and looked around to find the source. I gazed at Leo and found that he was covered with sweat and trembling in sleep. Shit, he is having a nightmare. I quickly got up, went to his bed and tried waking him. but failed. He screamed again.
