Chapter 8

Knockout muttered to himself. Starscream leaned on the med bay wall, watching the medic pace back and forth. Jack Miko and Raf were sitting on the floor beside the seeker.

Jack looked up at Knockout and crawled over to him, sitting in his pacing path. Knockout stopped when he saw Jack sitting there, giving a sigh he picked up Jack up.

"I guess I have no choice" Knockout said.

"Are you sure you want to pick him?" Starscream asked.

"I have to...I don't really fully trust Shockwave to not do any tests on them, and Soundwave is gone on his own mission...and I'm not leaving them with the Vehicons" Knockout said.

"Alright then, let's get them to him and get going" Starscream said picking Miko and Raf up.

(Command deck)

Megatron looked down at the three at his pedes, the three staring back at him. He didn't know what to do with them, all Knockout said was to feed them if they needed to refuel.

Miko have a smile and clapped, flopping over on her side from laughing. Raf gave a chirp at her and Jack just watched the two.

Megatron remained quiet watched them. He figured they'd go into recharge and he wouldn't have to do much.

"Lord Megatron, we found another energon signal" a vehicon said.

"Where?" Megatron asked looking over.

"Somewhere by a place called the Caribbean" the vehicon said.

"Have some Vehicons go check it" Megatron said as he stood by the one vehicon.

"Yes lord Megatron" the vehicon nodded.

"Uhm lord Megatron, one of the Sparklings have disappeared" another vehicon said.

"What?! Primus sakes!" Megatron said looking around the room.

"I think she went into the hall" he said.

"Of course she did, tell the soldiers to keep an optic out for her and to comm me if they see her! If anything happens to any of them Knockout will be on a rampage" Megatron said rushing out only to come back and pick up the other two.

"Where is that femme?! Starhaze come out now!" Megatron called out.

He sat Jack and Raf down for a second to check some cracks that were in the wall. And when he turned back around Jack and Raf were gone.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" He shouted.

(Different corridor)

Miko crawled down the hall and stopped when someone was standing in front of her. She looked up to see an insecticon. She cowered back as it hissed at her.

She quickly turned back around and crawled away. The bug was about to follow when it got rammed into.

"Come little one, it's dangerous for a sparkling to be wondering alone. You should be with Megatron" a deep voice said as they lifted her up.

Miko chirped as she was held in strong arms. She watched the mech walk down the hall. Likely going to the bridge.

(With Megatron)

Megatron was trying to catch Jack who was now playing a game of tag with him. Megatron growled as Jack seemed to be pretty fast. Finally catching him he huffed as he looked around for Raf.

"Where is Cosmos?" He asked aloud.

Jack pointed down a hall and Megatron went that way. And when he looked down One hall he saw Raf siting by a door. He walked over and picked him up.

"Lord Megatron I believe this femme is to be with you" a voice said.

"Ah yes thank you Predaking, troubling little brats" Megatron sighed as he took Miko from the dragon.

(Command deck)

Miko pouted as she was on the throne, she couldn't get down without help or she'd get hurt. She looked up at Megatron and pouted.

"Don't give me that look, if you would have stayed put you'd be able to sit on the floor" Megatron said.

Miko gave a sharp yell making Megatron wince. Raf was squeaking with Jack. The two seemingly talking with each other.

Raf went quiet and then gave out a loud cry. Megatron jumped as he wasn't paying attention to them. He saw the small one crying and Jack patting him.

"What is it now?!" Megatron asked on the verge of losing his mind.

"Sir, maybe the Sparklings are ready to refuel" a vehicon said.

"Sigh....troublesome brats" Megatron said picking them up and left the room.

(Rec room)

The three sat on the table top, sipping from the straws while Megatron sat with his face in his fist. As he waited for them to finish he was thinking of ways to try and beat the autobots.

A poking to his arm made him look down to see Miko. Who was looking at him curiously, he grabbed a rag and cleaned their faces off. Going back to the command deck.

When he got there, he sat down with a sigh, still holding the three, he didn't notice that they went to recharge in his arms.

"Great...." He frowned.

(Time skip)

Knockout walked in and froze, there he saw Megatron with three quiet recharging Sparklings on his lap. Megatron gave him a frown, silently telling him to collect the three.

Knockout walked over and carefully picked them up, Miko gave a small whine but settled back down. Megatron groaned as he stood and stretched.

"I've been sitting there for two hours with them in recharge" Megatron grumped.

"I'm sorry I took so long, I take it nothing happened while in your care right?" Knockout gave him that quizzical look.

"....no....just had a small temper tantrum, when it became time to feed them" Megatron said.

"Good! I'm glad they weren't any trouble for you, and nothing happened! You know Starscream joked that you'd end up losing them somehow and they would get hurt...but I knew that you wouldn't lose them" Knockout said with a smile leaving.

Megatron had a shocked look and was frozen in place. He was thankful Knockout didn't see his face, if he knew the truth that he did lose them and that Miko almost got hurt from an Insecticon. He'd be the likely one being hurt.

"No longer am I sparkling sitting" he said to himself but he knew he would if Soundwave was gone again.
