Chapter 3

Jack woke to loud booming, looking at the window he saw lightning flash. And knew it was a storm, and he hates how some things now scared him. He flinched when another crack of thunder hit.

He rolled into Knockouts side, trying to bury himself under the grown mech. Which failed but he settled with being as close as possible to him.

"Settle down Jack...it's just a storm, it won't last forever" Knockout groaned, rolling over and pulled Knockout up to his chest plates.

Jack closed his optics and cuddled close to the mech. Knockout opened his optics a tad to see the sparkling going back to sleep. He smiled and closed his optics again.

(Morning)

Vehicons were walking the halls and chatting away. Knockout yawned as he made a turn and bumped into someone.

"Primus!" The other gasped.

"Gah!....ah Jackstar!...oh your alright" Knockout sighed in relief once he saw Jack was ok after being sent to the ground.

"...ow....Knockout?" The other spoke.

"Starscream! I'm sorry for running into you" Knockout said standing up.

"It's fine...did you hear the storm last night?" Starscream asked.

"Yes...it scared Jackstar...ever since being changed into one of us he's changed in so many ways" Knockout said.

"STARSCREAM KNOCKOUG REPORT TO THE BRIDGE IMMEDIATELY!" Megatron yelled.

The two mechs shrugged and made their way to the bridge. There they saw Megatron looking not so pleased.

"You called my lord?" Knockout bowed.

"Soundwave found a signal, a new energon location, I want you two to go check it out....save you don't screw anything up. Then report back what you find" Megatron said.

"Yes lord Megatron" the two mechs said.

(Mountains)

Knockout was forced to take jack with them, so he let the small one try to keep up to them. Starscream agreed to walk slowly so Jack could stay with them. He looked back to see him crawl over to a shiny rock.

"How easy it is to get distracted" he smirked as he kept walking.

"Yes....Jack come on love, there we go. You can stay up here for now ok" Knockout smiled as he walked to catch up to the seeker.

Jack held onto Knockouts vents and looked around the cave. He heard water drip and bats flapping their wings. He was happy he wasn't human at the moment.

"This way, it should be down here" Starscream said taking a turn into a dark narrow tunnel.

"How are you not flipping with the small space of this path? Or even being in the cave?" Knockout said as he felt Jack Shake.

"Trust me, I'm not happy...but I don't wish to get beat for failing something so simple either" Starscream said.

"......did you hear that?" Knockout asked as he picked up talking.

"Could be human miners...what are the odds of autobots being here?" The seeker asked.

"Your asking me?!" Knockout frowned as he pressed up close to the seekers back.

"Why're you getting that close for?!" The seeker snapped.

"Sh! I have a fragging Sparkling with me if you've forgotten! I can't fight" Knockout snapped back.

"Sigh....then put him in your chest to hide" Starscream said.

Knockout blinked and was surprised to watch his commander grab Jack, and open his chest plates up only to put Jack inside near his spark chamber. Then closed the plates back up.
