It had become a constant fire - the glowing yellow they injected into my veins. All I could feel, all I could remember was pain. Pain that seemed to think on it's own, exploring and burning the blood flowing throughout my body. The tips of my all too thin hair to my toes had experienced the painful raging fire they forced under my skin.

I opened the eyes that I had closed to stop myself from anticipating the pinch of the injection followed by the roar of fire, and through blurred vision slightly recognised the 'scientist' that was responsible for the torture inflicted upon my siblings and I for the past month.

"Любое изменение? (Any change?)" He asked the doctor readying another injection of the glowing yellow poison.

"еще нет, сэр. (Not yet, sir.)" The doctor replied. The 'scientist's' bloodshot eyes then looked to mine, with disappointment. An emotion I was all too familiar with from Baron Von Strucker. I wanted to yell, to spit at him and condemn him from the torture he inflicted on my siblings and I in the pursuit of power, but the gag in my mouth restricted any form of communication between us.

"Вы делаете пациенту только разовые уколы? (Is is only single injections you have been giving the subject?)" He asked of the doctor, his watery eyes gleaming with curiosity.

"Да сэр. (Yes sir.)" The doctor answered hesitantly, lowering the injection from the crook of my elbow to glance at the scientist.

"Что, если бы мы попробовали постоянную подачу сыворотки субъекту в течение двадцати четырех часов? (What if we were to try a twenty four hour constant supply of the serum to the subject?) The scientist questions looking to the doctor, who thinks it over for a moment before giving a small nod and going to the fridge in the corner of the room. In that moment I felt terrified, watching the doctor pull out multiple bags of the glowing yellow substance, I tried to scream, I tried to break free from the metal restraints, but it wasn't any use as the doctor set up a drip hooked up to one of the bags. Terrified I watched as the yellow slowly made it's way down towards my arm. Tears started to run down my cheeks in fear, I didn't dare to look away from the drip and watched as the yellow entered my veins.

And I began to burn from not only the fire in my veins, but my own fury burned every thought. I couldn't do anything to stop the pain, so I burned and burned and burned. Yet standing above there was a fascinated doctor and torturous scientist watching a twelve year-old girl lose her childhood.
