Before I begin the bio, I suggest you read the oneshot to get a look at his backstory. It's really important!
One-shot: A Misunderstanding
The young penguin opened his eyes.
"... Where..." He got up from the sandy shore. "... Am I...?"
The penguin tried his best to recall anything- where he came from, why he was here, who he was. But nothing. The most he remembered was a storm... But what could that mean...?
The penguin decided to venture into whatever waited for him.

"It's a member of the Illuminader crew! RUN!"
As soon as the penguin stepped into the village, it's residents had fleed. Something about an "Illuminader". Whatever that meant. The penguin noticed an orange ball with yellow feet and chocolate-esque colored eyes. It was wearing a small navy blue hat and was holding two cuffs connected to each other.
"You must be the infamous Kano, eh? Navigator of the Illuminader... What's with you coming here all alone?" The orange ball asked. A worried look upon his face, the penguin stuttered, "S-Sir! I don't know what this place is, why everyone is running from me, and more importantly, who I am... If I had done something bad before, I sincerely apologize for it!"
"Playing dumb to get out of jail, aren't you? Too bad. Kano, you're under arrest."
"W-What?!"
The orange ball put the two cuffs around the penguin's wrists and sharply pulled on it, essentially dragging the poor penguin to the police station. All the while, the penguin was confused at everything happening so fast.
"Sir, please, I'm telling the truth...! I don't know anything about an Illuminader... Please let me go!" He pleaded.
"Go tell it to the judge. Yer a horrible liar, did you know that?"
The penguin sighed. There was no use getting anything out of this stranger.

That was a oneshot based around my new character!
As you would notice, the orange ball, otherwise known as Police Dee, mentioned the new OC's name and some sort of crew they were in. Kano and the Illuminader... What could it all mean? Hm, I might make this into a story, but I'm worried it might end up like Onja's backstory, forgotten and lacking updates...
Oh yeah! Here's his bio :)
Name: Kano
Age: Currently undecided, but he's going to be 21+ probably
Gender: Male
Personality: Kano is, generally, a chill, nice person. He likes being around people, listening to them talk about something he probably isn't even interested in. Before he got amnesia, he was a bit more rowdy and loud, but that part of him has died down significantly. (Wondering about the amnesia part? All will be explained in time...)
Backstory: Kano was given birth to in an ordinary town. It wasn't until later on that something interesting happened. One fateful day, the Illuminader crew (pronounced e-lu-mi-NA-dare) decided to loot the town Kano was living in. The Illuminader crew were a group of skilled and fierce pirates, and according to the townsfolk, if the Illuminader crew came to your town the treasures there were good as gone. Among the panic, the previous captain, Captain Whittaker, found small Kano and took him in. For the majority of his life, Kano was traveling across the seas and grew up to become the navigator for the Illuminader.
Eventually, Captain Whittaker died, and his role of captain was taken over by his equally skilled daughter, Captain Lumi. Nothing else interesting happened until one stormy and chaotic day- a killer storm was wreaking havoc in the ocean, and the Illuminader was in the middle of it. The storm almost tipped the ship over, but luckily it didn't happen. Unfortunately, Kano ended up falling into the ocean and got a concussion from hitting his head on a rock in the sea. This lead him to wash up on the Rainbow Islands shore with no memories of his past life- only a vague memory of the storm.
Upon sight, the police force of the Rainbow Islands arrested him, only to find out that the reason he was acting so innocent was because he had amnesia. The police force hesitantly let him go, leading him to explore the Rainbow Islands and become friends with a fellow penguin named Felicita. It wasn't long until the Illuminader crew decided to search for him. Kano ended up getting kidnapped and taken back to the Illuminader, where Captain Lumi reminded him of his time on the llluminader, recovering some of his memories. Kano then stated that he wouldn't rejoin the Illuminader because he had found a better place to live his life. Despite being shocked at this, Captain Lumi didn't let Kano go. So Kano devised an escape route. At the same time, Captain Lumi was planning an attack on the Rainbow Islands, and Kano decided that, once he got back, he would tell everyone of the Illuminader's plans- which he did.
When the Illuminader attacked, the citizens were ready to fight back. That didn't stop Captain Lumi from attempting to kidnap Kano again. However, Felicita used her powers to protect Kano from Captain Lumi, ending in the Illuminader's defeat. Although the Illuminader wasn't caught that day, it was their first failed attempt at looting a place. It was thanks to Kano and Felicita that the Rainbow Islands were safe from the Illuminader. To this day, Kano is still residing in the Rainbow Islands. He acts like he doesn't like all the attention for saving the islands, but deep down inside he does enjoy it.
