Chapter 1

T-555-555-555 POV

Me and my fellow troopers are lined up against the trench wall waiting for the whistle. I looked over at my brothers and sisters and just as I turned back to the land I front of us the whistle rings out and we all claimed it of the trench and charged the heretic line. As we charged the lines I could hear shots ring out all around me. The sound of mortar shells screaming high above us then exploding beneath our boots. I was the first to make it over to the other trench. I hoped in and started blasting the heretics. I shouldered my rifle and shot the first 2 heretics in the head. I took aim at a third but the shot landed too short and hit him in the arm. I quickly shot him in the head and aimed at the one behind him. But just as I was about to shoot I quickly jumped back as I dodged a heretic holding an ax. I quickly holstered my rifle and took out my shovel. For a moment we stared at one another but he made the first move. He charged at me, ax up high. As he swung down I used my shovel to deflect his attack and punched him in the face. He quickly shook it off and charged at you once again. He lunged at me and I just barely managed to dodge his attack. But he was still close to me I quickly swung my shovel at his head but he used his ax to stop my attack. I quickly knees him in the gut and used my opportunity to smash my shovel into the back of his neck. I quickly pulled my shovel out of his neck and proceeded to take out my pistol and begin firing at the heretics as they began falling back. The entire time using my shovel to cut down the rest. This moment was glorious. Our forces are driving back the heretics. We are truly earning his forgiveness. I then hear a loud whistle and just as I aimed another heretic, BOOM! Everything went black. I looked around the empty void and began to wonder. What is this place? Have I failed to deliver his glory? Have I not been forgiven? But just as I was about to start wandering around the emptiness a bright light began shining from behind me. The light was so intense that I had to use my arms to protect my eyes. The light began to die down and I uncovered my eyes to see the EMPEROR! I quickly kneeled in front of him. I can't believe it. I'm standing in front of the god Empire. What have I don't to deserve such an honor? I then felt a large hand place itself on my shoulder. "Rise son of Krieg." Said the Emperor. I slowly stood up on shaking knees as I stared at his mighty presence. "I have a task for you." He said calmly. I looked at him and slowly nodded. "A world of mine is under threat. They do not know my name yet but they will. Right now the people of this world are fighting hell beasts known as Grim that roam the planet. "My Emperor. Are there only humans and there's Grim on this world?" I asked. "No." He responded. "There are also mutants called Faunus that roam the world as well." "Shall I help the humans slaughter theses freaks?" He placed a hand on my shoulder. "No. I have rested them in my image as a new force. They will become citizens along side humans. But for now you will help the people of this world fight the Grim threat. You shall be the instrument of my plan." He then removed his hand from my shoulder and rained it high above himself. He then opened a portal and pointed a finger at it. I began walking towards the portal but stoped when the Emperor placed a hand in front of me. I turned to look at him confused as to why he stoped me from entering the portal. "Remove your mask. I wish to see the one I will send." I was stunned by this. The Emperor himself is asking to see my face! I slowly moved my hands up to my face and began removing my mask. I had my face pointed down while removing it then I slowly looked up and stared at the Emperor with unfiltered eyes. He smiled at me then reached behind himself and took out a large golden box. "You are to take these. I made them myself." He opened the golden box and I reached in and took out a shovel. "That shovel has some of my hair in the shaft."I then reach in a took out a Lase rifle. "It's powered by my blood so you don't have to worry about ammo." I then reached in and took out a bolter pistol. "That was my friends Bolter. Now it's yours use these and purge the Heretics in my name!" I nosed them holstered my new gifts and placed my mask back on then proceeded to charged strait threw the portal to do his biding. As I ran threw I herd the Emperor speak. "Oh. And fives. Try to make some friends and loved one while your there my friend."
