Catherine's POV
What is he staring at ? And why did he drag me behind a garbage can? In amusement I stared at his chocolate brown eyes and said,
"It is nice to meet you too."
I smirked. He seemed to snap out of his trance but then it looked like he was debating with himself about something. Deciding that I should read his mind so I am not as confused, I concentrated on his thoughts but the only word that I caught was Danielle.
Suddenly, I heard a mob of girls screaming. He quickly looked over his shoulder then pushed us farther behind the trash cans until the group of girls ran past the alley. Finally he let me go and we sat there, me giving him a questioning look while he looked over his shoulder once more.
He turned back to face me and smiled.
"Hi my name is Liam Payne, and I am sorry but I did'nt want you to be trampled over by the fans."
Fans?" I questioned.
" Yeah, you see I am in a boyband called One Direction."
"Oh! is that so? I am truly very sorry but I am not from here. I actually moved here last week, so I do not know anything about this lovely city."
He chuckled.
"S'all good"
Riinngg Riinng
His phone started ringing. He picked it up and began talking to the person on the phone.
"Hey Lou, where are you"
Because of my perfect vampire hearing I could clearly hear the voice on the other end.
"We are back at Nando's. Come soon because I think the mob will find us soon."
" Ok I'll be right there."
He ended the call and faced me.
"Sorry, that was my mate Lou calling asking where I am. Would you like to come and meet them?"
Hmm, I thought. He is my mate and I would like to get to know him better. Maybe this is my chance.
"Sure. I would be honoured."
He got my hand and we made our way back to Nando's to see four guys standing there with their hoods up and sunglasses on. we were just about to reach them when we heard an ear splitting scream.
"OH MY GAWD! IT"S ONE DIRECTION!"
Suddenly the four guys liam and I started running towards a black tinted hummer. Assuming it was there car I jumped in and strapped on my seatbelt. The other guys jumped in after me with Liam driving.
"Where are we going Liam?" I questioned.
"We are going back to the flat, and we better do it quick. By the looks of it the fans are following us."
I looked back to see that he was right. Fans were chasing the car by either running behind us like maniacs or driving close behin us. The car ride was mostly silent since the boys were trying to make Liam drive faster.
We finally reached a rather huge flat. It was not as big as my flat since it was a mansion but theirs was pretty close. They all jumped out and ran to the door. Me trailing in behind them. I closed the door behind me and turned around to see all five of them staring at me.
