Catherine's POV:
Taking an unnecessary deep breath, I headed down the stairs. I could hear the boys and their girlfriends talking, but once I reached the living room, it was dead silent.
It smelt kind of weird, but I let it go.
Finally, a girl with brown hair tackled me into a hug followed by a girl with blonde hair. For humans, they were gorgeous.
"Hey, my name is Eleanor and this is Perrie. The boys have said so much about you!"
"Good things I hope" I said with a chuckle.
They let me go and sat down with their boyfriends. Finally, a girl with dark brown hair came up to me with a weird look on her face. I noticed that the weird smell was coming from her. That was odd.
"Hi, I'm Danielle." She said.
So this was the girl who is keeping my mate away from me.
"Hi, I'm Catherine."
She hugged me a little too tightly for a human. We let go and stared at each other. Noticing the tension in the room Eleanor decided to break it.
"Why don't we all head to the dining room for lunch. I'm starving." Everyone nodded and started following her except for Danielle.
"You coming babe?" asked Liam.
"I'll be right there." She replied.
Once everyone was in the dining room, she turned to me and gave me the harshest glare I have ever seen. I kept my face impassive and said "May I help you."
She stared at me for awhile longer. Finally she said " Yes, you can help me. Why don't you do me a favour and stay away from Liam. HE'S MINE!" There was a hint off possessiveness in her voice.
Without waiting for my reply, she flipped her hair over her shoulder and started to walk towards the dining room.
How dare she tell me to stay away from my mate. But I could not help but notice that something was odd about her. And I was going to do everything in my power to find out.
