I woke up to the loud ringing of my phone, mag aalas otso na ng umaga. Hindi ako makakilos, may kung anong mabigat ang nakadagan sa aking tiyan at tila nakakulong ako sa mga bisig ng kung sino.
I tried reaching out for my phone but I cannot even move my arms. When I opened my eyes, I saw Lexter lying on the humongous couch, while Achilles have me imprisoned in his arms.
Realization hit me hard, damn! I am again in this shitty situation and it seems that I have a very complicated way out.
"Achilles.." I called him and tried to pry myself free from his vice-like grip on my body.
"Hmnnn.."" Umungol lamang ito at gumapang ang kamay sa aking dibdib. He gave it a gentle squeeze to my horror.
"Achilles! Let me go!" I hissed. Wala pa din tigil ang telepono ko sa pagtunog.
"Who the fuck is on the phone this early?!" Wala sa wisyo na iniabot ni Achilles ang phone ko at sinagot. Inilayo niya ito ng kaunti sa kanyang mukha habang nakayakap pa din sa akin.
Hell's fire please tupukin mo na ako ngayon din! I heard Axel's voice on the other end and the video popped up.
The sight that he saw made me want to just vanish to thin air. I am wearing a very thin nightie and Achilles' arms are wrapped around me.
Shit! Anong iisipin ni Axel sa itsura namin ni Achilles?
"Lada.." Axel's voice is low and sounded angry.
Nagdilat ng mata si Achilles at nagsalita.
"Good morning, cousin." He said sleepily.
"A-axel.." I stammered stupidly. Tila ba ako ay guilty sa nakita niyang ayos namin ni Achilles sa kama. I sat down and grabbed the phone from Achille's hand, umalis na din ako sa kama at tumayo sa may bintana.
"Good morning, Cara Mia." He sounded sad this time. There was something like defeat in his voice.
"Good morning, Axel!" I greeted him too cheerily, too guilty of what I was doing.
Eh ano nga ba kasi ang ginagawa mo, Lada?
Wala akong ginagawa, brain!
Really? Bakit guilty ka?
Hindi ako guilty!
Suit yourself, wala kang ginagawa.. hmnnn.. eh ano yun tawag sa torrid kissing ninyo ni Achilles kagabi?
God.. shut up please..
Utak mo lang ako, hindi pa ako si Lord.
Naihilamos ko na lang ang isang kamay ko sa aking mukha.
"Everything okay, Cara Mia?" Axel asked.
"Yes, I'm okay. How are you doing there?:
"I'm good, I was worried about you, hindi ka sumasagot sa mga tawag ko kahapon pa." May panunumbat sa boses ni Achilles.
"I'm sorry, Caro. There's just.."
"There's the wedding.. I know."
I smiled guiltily. And I really have no idea what to say. It was an uncomfortable silence between us. For the first time in my life, I do not want to share with him what happened to me and Achilles.
Umikot ako at nahagip ng tingin niya si Lexter.
"Lexter is there too? In the same room with you?" He was puzzled. Kunot na kunot ang noo nito sa pagtatanong nya.
