The way you look at me (Sam x Bucky)

18 - Are we meant to be?

Bucky gently pulled apart from Sam, leaving them both wanting more. In the moment they spent together they had forgotten about everything around them. Sam was ultimately speechless as he tried to find the right words without ruining the moment.

He looked at Bucky who just let out a small chuckle accompanied with a heart warming smile as he looked down to the ground for a split second to hide his rosy cheeks. The sun had set and the Moonlight brought a comforting beauty to the night.

Sam had forgotten everything around him, he was at loss of words. Did that just happen? Of course it did. Sam couldn't help the growing smile from appearing on his lips as he watched Bucky. The kiss was everything, it left them wondering what a life would be like together.

"Well" Sam started unable to think of any words that could describe the way he was feeling. "I cant believe you felt that way Buck" Sam breathed "you have no idea" Bucky grinned running a hand through his brown locks. "That was-" Sam exhaled with a lingering smile "Perfect" Bucky finished his sentence bringing his lips between his teeth once again. "Yeah" Sam added breathlessly.

"We should get inside" Sam spoke up feeling the gentle breeze making goosebumps appear on his arms. "Yeah" Bucky agreed with a gentle smile.

As the boys walked back to the house in the sparkling moonlight, they both knew this was right. They had a feeling that whatever sparked between them would last a lifetime.

Sam slowly placed his arm around the back of a Bucky pulling him closer. He squeezed tenderly making sure Bucky was close by. They walked in sync ; both with smiles. Sam felt a presence on his shoulder and snook a look to see that Bucky was resting his head there as they slowly walked back.

"Where are you sleeping Buck?" Sam questioned just as they reached the front door. "Don't ask stupid questions sam" Bucky rolled his eyes playfully. "Okay Buck" Sam laughed knowing full well Bucky wanted to sleep in the same room and bed.

Entering the house they tried to be a quiet as they could, Sam's nephews and sister were sleeping and Sam would hate himself if he was to wake them up. "Go in there, I'll be in soon just need to get something" Sam whispered gesturing Bucky to in.
Bucky nodded in response closing the bedroom door behind him.

Sam decided to grab two cups of water just in case they needed a drink in the night. He thought this gesture would be sweet and he hoped Bucky would see it as that, then again Bucky had gotten sam a drink of water on the jet so he kinda wanted to repay him, he knew it was pretty stupid but wanted to anyway.

Succeeding in grabbing some water without waking the whole house up, Sam quietly made his way back to the room, opening the door and closing it straight after while trying to balance two cups of water in his hand. "That's Nice of you Sam but If your going to drop it, don't drop it on me" Bucky laughed watching Sam juggle the cups in his hands. "It's alright, I got it" Sam snickered while turning his head to face Bucky who was all snuggled up under the duvet.

"You look comfortable there. In my bed" Sam spoke putting emphasis onto the 'In my bed' "if you would rather me get out" Bucky shrugged moving off the duvet causing Sam to nearly swallow his tongue.

"I uh" Sam started trying to get a hold of his words. "Think you are missing some clothes" He finished the sentence looking Bucky in the eye trying his hardest not to move his eyes downwards. "I have got clothes on Sam" Bucky shook his head with a grin. "I wouldn't count boxers as clothes Buck" Sam replied putting down the water on the side table. "Would you rather me put on some shorts" Bucky answered sitting back down on the bed. "Stay like that, I don't mind" Sam shrugged. Bucky smiled pulling the duvet back over his body. "Sam sleeping in Them jeans can't be comfortable" Bucky spoke up pointing to Sam who was trying to scramble under the covers. "I'll change" He agreed.
