Other ants, these ones ranging from teens to adults were awaiting their return near the nest. A few hungrily chirped when they saw her held between the mandibles of the leader. He waved his antennae in annoyance at them, before entering the nest. Darkness encapsulated them, and an earthly scent filled the air. Dirt walls surrounded them. She could hear the scurrying of other workers around them. Her ride was trying to be very gentle, but some others kept bumping into him. Eventually, after about fifteen minutes of being in and out of dark chambers and holes, they arrived at the queens' throne room. She was a hybrid of ant and human, for she stood and walked on two legs, but had the tail of an ant. Covering her body was an armor-like suit, and atop her head was a helmet. Springing from the back of the helm were her covered antennae, and from her cloaked arms, sword-like weapons. The suit was a masterpiece, and had blue highlights that glowed, showing she was the ultimate light in the dark of the nest.
