The Secret Riddle

3: Magic

It's been a week since we begun and it's a Saturday. I sit up on my bed and go to the bathroom. I have a shower and pick out jeans and a top. I slide on baggy jeans, a white t-shirt and a flannel and black boots. I brush my hair and leave it down. I do mascara and lipgloss and that's it. 

I walk outside and place my pyjama's on my bed. I sigh and this girl, Anne Marie looks at me. "You could try to look like a girl" said Anne. "Uh.... no" I said. I walk out after grabbing my wand and money. I go to the Great Hall and sit down. I look around and notice Snape watching me. I look away and lean my head against the table. 

"Hey girlie" said Fred. "Hey Fred, George" I said. "Aspen, what are you doing today?" asked George. "Going to Hogsmeade" I said. George nods. "How come we can't go yet?" asked Fred. "Your only first years, third year your able to go" I said, brushing a strand of hair out of my eyes. George groans. "Ugh" said Fred. I nod. I take some porridge. I know why Snape is watching me. I'm the daughter of Tom Riddle. No one can know. I finish my food and drink. "I'll bring you home some products from Zonko's" I said, smiling. "Thanks!" said Fred and George. I smile and leave. I walk down to the village when I hear my name. "Aspen!" said Charlie. I stop and wait for him. "Hey, what's up?" I ask. "Um.... what are you doing today?" asked Charlie. "Going to Hogsmeade" I said. "Right, yeah" said Charlie. I just nod and begin to walk away. 

I go to Zonko's and buy some products. I then head to the Three Broomsticks and order a butterbeer. I sit down and take a zip. I look around, everyone has friends and has fun. I finish and stand up. I walk out and walk back to the school. I find the twins and hand them their products. They thank me. "Please, don't do dangerous pranks" I said. "We won't" said George. I smile and go to the library. I begin to do my homework and read some books. I look up and spot Charlie walking inside. I sigh and take my flannel off. 

I hear him and Bill talking. I glance up and look at them. Bill walks over. "Hey, I know it's not your night for your and Charlie's duty, but can you both do it?" asked Bill. I nod. "Yeah, OK" I said. Bill nods and walks off. "So, the doors at 10?" asked Charlie. I nod. Charlie leaves and I lean back. I pack up and go to the dorm. I slide on my cloak and sit on my bed. I decide to write a letter to my mum. 

To mum

Hogwarts is going good. I made two friends, their in first year, Fred and George Weasley. Their awesome and love pranks. I'm doing good, just doing homework and talking to the twins. How are you and dad? I hope your happy and safe, mum, dad. I love you so much!

I go to the owlery and send my owl home. I go back down and sit on a sofa. I wait for a while and then head to the door. Charlie walks over and opens the door. We step out and begin patrolling. "So, what do you want to do after Hogwarts?" asked Charlie. I shrug. "No clue, thinking of either working in St. Mungos or the ministry. Or own a shop" I said. "Nice, I want to be a dragon tamer" said Charlie. "Nice, you love dragons then?" I ask. "Yeah" said Charlie. I smile and nod. We head back and I go to the girls dorm. I change into my pyjama's. I slide under the covers and close my eyes. I fall asleep after a while. 

Today was good. I wish I had more friends but the twins are amazing!!
