8: Lucy Drama!

I wake up and sigh. It's the day after Christmas and I'm tired, as usual. I go put on black jeans, a black hoodie and black vans. I put a hat over my hair. I sigh and go downstairs. Charlie is sitting on the sofa, doing some Care of Magical Creatures work. I go make breakfast and then dig in. I go sit in the sitting room and Charlie glances at me. 

"Morning, Aspen" said Charlie. "Morning Charlie" I said. He looks down. "Sorry, I would talk but I want to finish this chapter on dragons" said Charlie. "I've already finished, if you need help" I said. "I'm nearly finished, it's fine" said Charlie. 

I nod and look away. I take out my book and begin to read. "Morning, baby" said Lucy. "Morning, Luce" said Charlie. I glance around and Fred walks in. "Hey, wanna hang with us outside?" asked Fred. "Sure" I said. I walk out and we sit down on the grass. I smile and Bill walks over. He sits beside me. "I'm sorry, it must suck" said Bill. I laugh and nod. "It does and she's a bitch to me." I said. "Why?" asked Bill. "I have no friends, other than Fred and George. And for what I wear and how I look" I said. "But your beautiful" said Bill. I shrug. "Tell that to Lucy" I said, looking at my feet. Bill hugs me and kisses my head. "You will be fine, trust me" said Bill.

"I know, Bill" I said. "Oh, you have Bill" said Lucy, smirking. I pull away and look down. "Listen here, Lucy. I don't like you, the twins don't like you, the same with Percy, Ron, Ginny and my parents. Charlie is just blind and when he realises your a bitch, he'll dump you quicker than the Queen can decide on a new law!" said Bill, glaring at her. "You have everyone at your feet!" said Lucy. "Sure I do, the girl who has so many friends that your scared of me!" I said, looking at her. "Bitch" said Lucy. I wave her off and she goes inside. I groan and lie on the ground. "She's a bitch!" said Bill. "You betcha!" I said, rolling my eyes. 

We hear shouting. "LUCY! I know what you do to Aspen!" said Charlie. "How?" asked Lucy. "Fred and George showed me. So we're over, get the hell out of this house!" yelled Charlie. Lucy yells and grabs her stuff. She leaves. I look at Bill. Charlie walks out. He waves me over. I walk over and he brings me to his room. I sit on his seat and Charlie sits on the bed. 

"I'm sorry about Lucy. I didn't know until the twins showed me. I'm a dick" said Charlie. "Your not. Lucy is. Charlie, she and everyone does it to me, cause I have black hair and wear certain clothes and just typically spend time with myself. This is the first year where I made friends and actually felt happy with myself. Your amazing and any girl would be incredibly lucky to have you, Charlie. Trust me" I said. "Maybe I met her already" said Charlie, looking into my eyes. "Who is she, then?" I ask. "You. Just took me a while to figure it out" said Charlie. "I..... wow" I said. "So, can we take it slow? Friends first/" asked Charlie. "Of course" I said. He smiles and hugs me after he stands up. I smile and we go downstairs. 

We have dinner at 5 and play Quidditch afterwards. I go to bed at 10, since I'm tired. 

Me and Charlie are beginning as friends, thank god!

Ooo Lucy is gone for now!
