22: Hiding from Voldemort

It's October and we're hiding from Tom Riddle, Voldemort. I can't handle it but I am. In a couple of weeks we are going to live in Shell Cottage. I sigh and go get dressed. I slide on jeans, a black and white jumper. I slide on vans and leave my hair down. I do light make up and Ellie walks in. "Mom why are we hiding?" asked Ellie. "Sweetie, my biological father is after me and I.... we need to be safe" I said. "OK" said Ellie. Charlie walks in and kisses Ellie's head. He hugs me and kisses me. "Morning" said Charlie. "Morning" I said. "Your nervous" said Charlie. I nod. "Yeah. He could find us, he could.... hurt us" I said. Charlie hugs me and kisses me. 

I sigh and we have breakfast. "What can we do?" asked Ellie. "Um.... read, write, play games. Sweetheart, right now is hard and scary. It's a war and I'm afraid I am sought after because of me and I am not OK or ready for it. I'm terrified that one day he will find us and kill you. He'll force me to become a death eater and I just.... I don't want that" I said, crying. Ellie hugs me and goes to the sitting room. I sigh and hug Charlie. "I'm sorry. I'm just.... fed up" I said. "I know, so am I. I love you and you will be safe, as will Ellie" said Charlie. 

I sigh and sit down. Charlie hugs me and yawns. I sigh and clean up. I sit at the window and watch the rain come down. I play with my rings and I lean my head against the window. "Baby, let's go outside, the wards will hide us" said Charlie. I nod and kiss him. We go outside and begin to play football. Which I taught him how to play. Ellie is laughing. This is what love is about. Having fun and no worrying. I lean against Charlie's chest as Ellie picks flowers. "I love you Charlie" I said. "I love you too, my sweet girlfriend" said Charlie. I laugh and kiss him. I look around and sigh. We go inside and I make lunch. I make sandwich's and we dig in. I sigh and look at Charlie. His bored. He has his employee's looking after the staff, one is a wizard so everything will be fine. I yawn and I go have a nap. 

Ellie and Charlie are just chilling out watching television. I cook dinner at 5pm and we're having a good dinner. Once we finish, we relax and read some books. Ellie goes to bed at 10 and then we go to bed. I instantly fall asleep.

Hopefully hiding won't last forever!
