23: Moving to Shell Cottage

It's finally the day we're moving to Shell Cottage, one of the main reasons is because we want company. It would be great for Ellie to have other company than us two. I go find an outfit to put on. I slide on mom jeans, a jumper and white vans. I loosely curl my hair and do light make up. Ever since I became a mom, I stopped dressing for me. I kinda miss my old style. Charlie walks in and kisses me. "Morning, baby" said Charlie. "Morning, bub" I said. We step out and Ellie walks over wearing a pair of jeans and a hoodie. Her hair is brushed. I do two braids and then cook pancakes. 

We dig in and I look around the empty house. We sent our trunks and stuff to Shell Cottage already. "I'm going to miss this place" said Ellie. "So am I, hun but we have too" I said. We use a portkey to get there. Once we arrive, we go inside. Fleur walks over. "Velcome! I have some snacks" said Fleur. I smile and Ellie follows her. Charlie takes my hand and pulls me into a hug. 

"We have two people to hang and talk with. We will be fine" said Charlie. I nod. "I know" I said. I play with my fingers and we go inside. Fleur is baking a cake with Ellie. "I hope you like chocolate cake" said Fleur, smiling at me. "I sure do. We both love it" I said. Fleur smiles and looks around. I pull at my sleeves and smile. We sit down and I rub my face. Bill walks inside and sits across from us. "You OK?" asked Bill. "For now. Hopefully Harry, Ron and Hermione find what their looking for" I said. "I sure hope so too" said Bill. Charlie sighs and rubs my thighs. "Everything will work out, Aspen" said Charlie. "I know, I know" I said. Fleur and Ellie sit down. 

"So, I vas wondering.... can you give us advice? Ve vant to have a baby after the var and ve vant to be prepared" said Fleur. "Well, you can be prepared as you want but in the end, it won't matter. The first month is the hardest and slowly gets easier. You learn along the way to be honest" I said. "Thank you, ve vant it to be perfect" said Fleur. "It will be perfect." I said, smiling. I play with my hand and look around.

Fleur stands up and takes the cake out. She lets it cool before they ice it. Ellie is having fun. "When do you want to have more kids?" asked Fleur. "After the war, but if it happens, it happens" I said. Fleur nods. I smile and look around. I smile and Charlie whisks me away for a bath to share. We relax in the bath and I lean against his chest. I smile and once we finish, we step out and dry ourselves. 

We go downstairs and relax. I play with my fingers and put on a pair of leggings and a hoodie. I look around and Charlie kisses me. I kiss back and we go down for dinner. I sit down and Bill hands us a chicken stew. I smile and we just talk about some stuff. 

Ellie goes to bed at 9 and then we stay up till 11pm. Once we slide under the covers, we instantly fall asleep.

Th start of a war but boredom for us.
