You had been walking around the mall window shopping for the most part. Whenever you saw that one of your friends worked in the store you would go in and chat with them. Reno worked at a sports shop along with Vanitas, you didn’t stay very long there before Vanitas shooed you, quite rudely, out of the store. You had seen Serah working at a dress shop and couldn’t help but think how that suited her quite well from what you knew about her personality. Now you were just walking around aimlessly really. You were passing by the food court when your stomach started rumbling. You looked around at all the choices, but decided on going to this world’s version of Tropical Smoothie.
“Can I get a [smoothie choice]?” you asked when you had reached the ordering counter. The girl behind the cash register nodded and placed your order, and after you paid you went to go stand by the pickup station.
“Oh, hey [Name],” you heard a voice say. You turned back to see Roxas standing there with what you guessed was your smoothie.
“Hey Roxy, I didn’t know you worked here.” Roxas started blushing at the nickname causing you to chuckle.
“Well, now you know I guess.” Roxas handed you your smoothie. “I’d love to chat some more with you, but, um, we’re kinda busy as you can see. I’ll see you later though.” Roxas said. You said goodbye and headed off to go look around the mall some more. As far as you could tell the mall was huge, much bigger than you had originally thought at least.
You were walking by some more restaurants when a small bar caught your eye. Wanting to see what the inside of the bar looked like you headed in. The bells on the door chimed alerting the employees that someone had just entered. “Hey [Name], I see you’ve found Seventh Heaven.” You heard a voice say that belonged to none other than the eldest Strife brother. You smiled taking a seat, “Yeah, so how’s the day been?” you asked taking a look around the place. There were some chairs set up around the place for the customers to sit at, and then of course there was the actual bar itself. To be quite honest it didn’t actually look like a bar, more like a small restaurant, or somewhere for people to come and just hang out with each other.
“It’s been pretty good. How’s your job going?” Cloud replied. You hadn’t really talked much about your job you realized, but then again, you hadn’t been working there for a very long time either. “Stella came by earlier fuming.”
You couldn’t help but ask, “Stella came by here? This hardly seems like a place that she would spend her precious time at.” Cloud chuckled.
“She came by more so just to complain to us about you, most likely wanting us to punish you or something. What’d you do?” Tifa asked coming from behind a curtain that you guessed led to the back where they stored things.
“She got fired today, apparently she was mad that I had taken her spot as the leads in the events that they do at Touring the Worlds. I had walked in this morning to her and our manager arguing. Before I knew it Stella had slapped our manager, and she was fired.” You replied recounting the events of a few hours ago.
“Well that’s a first; usually she tries to play the sweet and innocent card.” Cloud said. You nodded thinking back to it, maybe she did try to play it but she realized that it was getting her nowhere. You sat there talking to the couple a little while longer, but once they started getting busy you decided you would leave, not wanting to get in the way.
You were planning on just going home now seeing that it was starting to get dark out, and you weren’t really one to like walking home alone at night. You were always worried someone would kidnap you, take you into an ally and do…things to you. You were reaching the front doors of the mall when you heard someone calling you. You turned to see that it was a small group consisting of Roxas, Zack, and Vanitas. “Well this is an odd group.” You commented once they got into hearing range.
