The mall was amazing! All though from everything else you had seen so far that was to be expected. Everything in this world was so much different from what it was like back from where you lived. The mall had a domed ceiling made entirely from glass and there were stores – both familiar to you and not – lining the walls. Then the food court was amazing too. There were again both places you had and hadn’t heard of before. You ended up going to get hamburgers with Ven at Five Guys. While you were eating lunch with Ven he brought up the topic of you getting a job. You agreed with him that would probably be a good idea and asked what places he knew of paid decently.
“Well off the top of my head I don’t really know any place, but why don’t we go walk around the mall to see if there are any places opening up.” Ven suggested.
“Ok! So which direction should we head in?” You asked.
“ONE DIRECTION!” you heard a voice yell. You turned around to see Yuffie running towards you and Ven.
“Oh my god! I love One Direction! Back home my friends and I would talk about them all the time. I guess I kinda have a small obsession….” you fangirled. Both you and Yuffie started to talk about them and headed in a random direction; somewhat forgetting that Ven was even there.
“So what’s your favorite song by them?!” Yuffie asked with excitement written all over her face.
“Oh gosh! It’s impossible to pick just one song of theirs that’s my favorite! What about you? Who’s your favorite?” You asked with the same amount of enthusiasm. Yuffie stopped for a minute thinking, which allowed Ven to catch up with you.
“Probably Louis. He’s so full of energy just like me! We would pull the best pranks together!” She said.
“Not to break up the whole One Direction fan girl session, but we are kinda on a mission.” Ven reminded. Yuffie simply rolled her eyes.
“Oh Venny. Is someone upset nobody’s paying attention to him?” Yuffie cooed.
“No he’s right. I need to get a job so I can feel like I’m actually taking care of myself instead of mooching off of the Strifes.” You told her.
“Oh! I’ll come with!” Yuffie exclaimed. You turned to look at Ven who didn’t look very thrilled with the idea.
“No. Really Yuffie you don’t have to come.” Ven tried. Yuffie, however, just rolled her eyes as she tugged you along with her. You tried to grab Ven’s hand, but ended up losing sight of him as a group of people walked in between the two of you.
“So, what job were you looking to get?” Yuffie asked. She had by now let go of your arm and was walking next to you.
“I didn’t really have a specific type of job in mind. Just something that pays decently really.” You replied. Yuffie looked to be deep in thought when she looked up with a somewhat devious smile on her face.
“What?” You asked cautiously. She quickly took hold of your hand and started dragging you behind once again.
After a few minutes of running, Yuffie finally stopped in front of a restaurant called, Touring the Worlds. Yuffie, once again, dragged you into the restaurant. It was amazing! There were different rooms that had different themes to them. From what it looked like there was one that looked along the lines of Indian or Arab. The next room you saw looked be themed some tropical island, it looked so nice. There was actually sand there too! The next room was themed more on the spooky side. It had an older feel to it also. There were candelabras, wonderfully made utensils, and there was a grandfather clock in the corner of the room. In the last room was a theme that caught you a bit off guard. The setting was the woods. There were trees, bushes, anything you could find in the woods really. You turned around when you felt a tap on your shoulder.
