The next few weeks after the dance had been uneventful for the most part, and you were still staying at Zack’s house. You hadn’t really taken notice about it before, but summer vacation was passed the half way point, and you still hadn’t found any way of getting home. You weren’t quite sure if that was a good thing or not, but currently, you were faced with the problem that with the way things were going you’d need to enroll in Radiant Gardens High. Auron had been nice enough to get you the enrollment papers, along with the uniform you’d have to wear. The uniform was ten times more attractive than the one you had to where on Earth which you were thankful for. The uniform consisted of a gray, black, and red plaid skirt, a white button up shirt, one with long sleeves for the winter and fall, and one with short sleeves for the spring and beginning of summer. The shoes, and this surprised you the most, were regular gray converse. The longer you stayed in Radiant Gardens, the harder it was for you to continue to want to go back home, as horrible as that may sound.
You were now just finishing up the last few fields on the enrollment papers that you had to fill out. Auron was willing to be your guardian and your emergency contact. For some odd reason, you always liked to fill out these papers, it made you feel all important and stuff. When you were younger, you would ask to help your mom with the paperwork she had to do. Sometimes she would let you, but that was when you had gotten a bit older and your penmanship had gotten better.
“[Name], I’m going out. I’ll be passing by the school on my way; do you want me to drop off the paperwork?” Cloud asked as he grabbed the keys to his oh so precious Fenrir. You finished signing one last spot and got up to hand it to the blonde. “Thank you.” You said before he opened the door to leave.
You were just about to walk away from the door after closing it when some flung the door open, the door hitting you in the nose. You brought your hand up to your nose in pain, and when you felt some liquid fall into your hand you groaned.
The offender didn’t seem to notice you groaning in pain by the door, or feel the daggers you were shooting at him with your eyes, instead he ran up the stairs. You didn’t really recognize him since you were able to see his face, but he must have come around here a lot because he seemed to be able to find his way around the house quite easily. You were just about to move, coming out of your daze, when the door flung open again, the door knob jamming you in the stomach. You were pretty sure the universe was out to get you right about now. You doubled over, having had the wind knocked out of you, and you did your best to catch your breath while you moved out of the way of the door, not wanting to get whacked with it again.
You made your way into the kitchen where you got a paper towel to hold your nose with. You took a seat on the counter next to the roll of paper towels, bringing the garbage can closer to you with your feet, to lazy and sore to get up and move it. Once you were comfortably situated on the granite counter someone else entered the kitchen. “What happened to you?”
You turned your head to see Roxas had walked in; probably going to get something to snack on out of the fridge since that was the direction his body had originally been turned. “Oh, nothing, just trying to stop my nose from bleeding.” You replied, your voice nasal since you were pinching your nose shut.
“How did that happen?” Roxas asked coming over to you, to get a new piece of paper towel for you. He folded it up and replaced your hand with his that was holding the clean towel. “The door attacked me. I don’t think Zack’s front door is a huge fan of me closing it.” You told him. He looked at you with a raised eyebrow. “I went to hand Cloud my enrollment forms to take to the school and when I was closing the door someone burst into the house and the door hit me in the face resulting in the bloody nose. After that it swung open again as someone else entered and the door knob jabbed me in the stomach.” You elaborated.
