I turned to Michael, a plan forming in my head, "Babe, we don't have any money for ice cream." Then to make it convincing, I pouted.
My boyfriend laughed, "I have some," he pulled out a few crumpled notes and waved them in front of me, "Dolla dolla bills."
I sighed, lovingly of course, and walked into the shop. I ordered chocolate chip.
A lot of chocolate chip.
Michael ordered a normal amount of cherry.
I made several jokes about my "cherry".
The cashier looked at us weirdly, but we just laughed at her as soon as we were out of the store.
We sat on a short stone wall facing the water that fell off the horizon.
I could feel Michael next to me, watching the waves. And I watched him. As he ate, a little bit of ice cream got on his nose, and I realised I loved him.
A lot.
Like a lot,a lot.
So I said it out loud, because I'm tired of waiting, "Mikey, you know I don't hate you right?" I bit into my ice cream, "I actually really love you."
He turned and smirked, "Oh really?" He spoke cockily, "How much."
"A lot." I said with another bite of ice cream.
Michael's smirk grew, "I don't believe you," he teased, "You'll have to show me."
He played right into my trap, I leaned in and grinned, "Okay."
The blue boy closed his eyes, and I smashed my ice cream in his face.
He turned to me, with a look of horror, the dairy product was dripping down his head.
I snorted, "Don't push me in the water again."
His eyes rolled and he pulled me into a hug, "Aw, babe, I love you this much." I felt cold on the crown of my head.
That dick put his ice cream in my hair.
But why get mad, so I laughed and kissed him lightly, "We make a perfect couple."
Michael hugged me back, "Yes, we do."
And he whispered, so only I could hear him, "And I love you a lot."--
(AN lol sorz about the shortness.
I HAVE TO PREPARE FOR THE ACT.
Maybe I'll try and update every Tuesday(ish)?
