Riven petrified and looked at her.
"What?!"
"You got that right. I want a child, with you."
"Muse, have you forgotten that we came close to tragedy today?"
"I haven't forgotten, though...I want to have a family with you." She pulls away moving closer to him. She kisses him softly, lying on top of him. Riven can't resist and kisses her just as lovingly.
"Pixie, this is a bit of a difficult decision to make. Give me time to, well, finish my studies and provide you with financial stability." He says with some hesitation.
"Don't worry about that..." she continues kissing him. They flirt for a good half hour, touching, enjoying each other, but the pizza delivery man interrupts that magical moment. Riven seemed relieved though, Musa was more than willing to make love until an eventual test came back positive. In fact, in the days to follow, he wouldn't bring it up again. He had no idea what it meant to take care of a brat! Besides, he and Musa were still so young, they'd only been together for a year and had had too many ups and downs, plus he thought Ho-Boé would screw up even more if he knew his daughter was having a baby with that obnoxious specialist.
A few days later, Bill sees Musa standing at the door of the still-closed club. He approaches her, scratching his head.
"Hi Musa, you know today is your day off."
"Hey Bill! Yeah, I know, I'm here to ask you something. I would need to, you know, make some extras..."
"Sure, you should help out on the weekend..."
"No, not as a waitress," she interrupts him, "but at the piano bar. I can play the piano, I can sing. When there's no disco, can I play?"
Bill touches his chin. Indeed, artists didn't always come to play and, surely, paying extras to Muse wasn't as expensive as paying artists from outside.
"All right dear, starting tomorrow you can play. But you have to work double shifts. Mornings at the tables and evenings at the piano, okay??"
"All right! Thanks!" She greets him and leaves. Rejoining the Winx at the mall, where they had been meeting, Bloom had something to say.
"Girls I got a letter from Professor Palladium. He, Wisgiz, and Avalon are going to give us extra training classes for our Enchantix powers, a couple of hours in the afternoon, three days a week!"
"Ugh that sucks! Now that I could enjoy the summer and doing nothing, here come the party pooper teachers!" Stella blurts out.
"Well, get ready because we have to meet with them as early as this afternoon!"
"So I'll see you after lunch? At the courtyard?" Flora asks.
"Yes yes, we have time to go home and get ready."
Musa nods. She needed to talk to Riven at lunch so she takes the opportunity to talk about training as well. Back home, she prepares food but doesn't feel very well...she feels drained and tired. She tries not to think about it, perhaps it was the heat, with a hearty lunch, a little rest and water she would have recovered her energy for training. Riven returned, throwing his bag on the ground. Musa realizes that at Red Fountain he had been having breakups with the freshmen and lets him vent while she serves lunch.
"... What about you, what did you do today?"
"Well I contracted with Bill to sing at the piano bar a few nights a week! That way he pays me a few extras!" She says all excited.
"Oh...are you doing it for the money or because you miss singing?"
"For both."
Riven chuckles slyly. He caresses her face, knowing she was happy made him happy accordingly.
