Musa woke up the next day. She was cramped between the covers, completely naked and with her hair disheveled. She turns around; Riven was not there. She sees both the bathroom door and the bedroom door open. She gets up, wearing the first thing that came to hand: a gray t-shirt of his, long and loose enough to cover her like a dress. She tiptoes downstairs, smelling the coffee, but Riven is nowhere in sight. She approaches the kitchen island, finding all the breakfast ready and a note.
Good morning pixie. Forgive me, it was late and I had to go to Red Fountain, Codatorta pulls my balls if I show up late to practice. At the entrance, you'll find a set of keys, take them and keep them. Enjoy your breakfast and have a great day.
Ps. Thanks for last night.
Musa sighed, but a smile curved her lips. He was gone again, as always, but this time he had at least had the decency to leave a post-it. She looks at the clock in the kitchen, it was 9:30 a.m. . She eats the pancakes he had made for her... after all, it wouldn't be a bad idea to move in with him. After breakfast, she goes back upstairs to wash and dress. Not wanting to go back to Alfea in heels and a mini-skirt, she turns Riven's shirt into a comfortable little day dress. She tidies up the house, making the bed and washing the breakfast dishes. She notices that the dishes from the night before had already been washed. She smiles as she thinks back on everything and how silly she was... Riven strangely wasn't furious at the accusations she had made against him. She shrugs, leaves, closes up the house, and returns to Alfea.
"Oh there you are at last!!!" squeaks Stella seeing her return. Luckily it was Saturday and there were no classes. Musa giggles.
"How did you get along with Griselda?"
"That's not the topic of our discussion, Musa!" says Aisha as she walks out of her room with Flora. Musa, shortly after, finds herself surrounded by her friends.
"In the end, I was wrong..." she admits. "I found out I'm in love with a master chef!" she giggles.
"Chef??? Didn't he take you to a restaurant?" Stella asks.
"Um, well, actually, more than what happened last night, there's something else that's important." She says blushing. "Riven rented an apartment in downtown Magix, since he finished his first three years of studies at Red Fountain. He lives there, though he stays in the school from time to time, especially when he has practice with Codatorta."
The girls listen curiously. Their boyfriends had also finished their studies but continued their studies as Paladins, a higher level. And since they were also of legal age, they could live outside of school.
"Well... he asked me to move in with him." She says all in one breath.
"WHAT?!" squeaks the other five, between astonishment and delight.
"Yeah..."
"And what do you plan to do?" asks Bloom.
"I'd like to think about it. Riven is not an easy person. It can turn out to be as much of a fairy tale as it can turn out to be a horror movie." She says quietly.
"Whatever choice you make, we will support you!" says Flora softly.
They knew how much Musa wanted to spend more time with Riven. They knew she would agree but they knew she would regret it. As they decide what to do with their day, Aisha catches up with Musa who was playing a song in her room with her bass guitar.
"Hey, can I?"
"Of course you can, come in" she makes room next to her on the bed.
"How did it go with the gift?"
