Genesis Chapter 3

Accomplices

Opening scene-

Matt and sam are at home in the kitchen. We see them at the table talking and writing on some cards. We hear sam begin to question matt.

Sam: when were you born?

Matt: january 30, 1997.

Sam: great. What is your favorite color?

Matt: black and red. He seems exhausted. Sam, we've been doing this all night. Can we take a break?

Sam: matt, we dont know how fast youre losing your memory. Yesterday took a real toll on you. Saddened by the memory. You forgot we lived together. So i want to make sure you at least still remember who you are.

Matt: sensing that she isnt just worried about matt remembering little things about himself. He caresses her hand and she looks at him with worry. Im not going to forget being in love with you. Theres no way ill let that happen. Granted, i have forgotten about us living together, but i still remember loving you. He raises her hand and gently kisses it.

Sam: her eyes tearing up. I just dont want to lose you.

Matt: you wont. Im sure ryan will be able to figure this out. We cut to ryan and daniel at their place. We start with a close up of ryan.

Ryan: i cant figure this out. He gets up from his table. Daniel is sipping coffee while sitting on counter. I have no idea how Liz managed to focus on his memory. He begins to aggressively pace back and forth. She shouldnt be able to do this. She has to have somebody helping her. If we could just figure out who, then maybe we make them stop it.

Daniel: watching ryan begin to spiral, hops off the counter and tries to calm him down. Dude, youre doing it again. You gotta relax. Hands him some tea. Here i made this for you. Its supposed to help you relax. Ryan smacks the cup of his hands in frustration.

Ryan: i dont need god damn tea! I need to save my brother!

Daniel: you're not going to be able to do that if you dont calm down! Ryan takes a few deep breaths and begins to calm down. He sees the broken cup on the floor and goes to grab a broom.

Ryan: you're right. I just need to make some sense of what you found. So what do we know?

Daniel:we know that liz has gathered some of genesis' old resources. She also managed to make matt's implant impossible to remove or tamper with.

Ryan: and we know that adrenaline seems to increase the speed of him losing his memory. So the question is how can we stop it, without alerting liz.

Daniel: looks down as he sips his coffee. I think the real question is, will you be able to reverse it?ryan looks up at him almost offended that daniel could think that. Sensing his frustration, daniel continues. Im just saying, what if we find a way to stop him from losing his memory, but we cant find a way to bring those memories back?

Ryan: well that isnt an option. We'll figure it out, we always do. Just then the computer begins to beep and ryan turns and walks over to it. He opens it and sees a message appear.

Daniel: peeking around ryans shoulder. Whats it say?

Ryan: hes scrolling through a list of information. It looks like messages between liz and someone called doctor bowman. He keeps scrolling until he sees blueprints of the implants genesis used to use. Wait hold on. I think liz sent the blueprints of the implants to him around a month ago.
