"You're adopting Malfoy?" Ginny roared, coming in through the Floo, where Harry and Draco sat across each other at the table drinking coffee, as well as other breakfast fare that Kreacher had made them.

"He's been living here a couple months already, Gin," Harry began to explain again, "And it's not permanent. It's a ministry program to help build up society again, rather than it always being splintered and fighting."

"I'm not an orphan, if anything I'd be adopting Harry," Malfoy quipped with a smirk, before a look from Harry shut him up. They would both have to pay something for Ginny's anger when it spiked up, as it often had. She further tested them the most because she demanded having Harry to herself.

"No one's talking to you, ferret face," Ginny roared, and Harry then noticed her wand already in her hand.

"Gin - stop," Harry tried to play as much of a peacekeeper as he could, "What is it you want?"

"I saw this!" she yelled, her anger directed back again at Harry. Her other hand threw the Daily Prophet on the table, which unfurled with a picture of the two taken outside Grimmauld. Kingsley had just announced the project when Auror training was about to begin (Draco had excelled in his NEWTS).

Harry didn't read the article, which he was sure had been twisted in some way. "It's not going to be forever, Gin, just for training. We're going to be partners, and he'll be living here. It's not that huge a deal," he replied, sighing.

"Can you part from your...pet project for a few minutes so we can have a private conversation?" Ginny demanded, again. Harry usually turned her down, but this time his eyes connected with Draco's. They could last a few minutes. Harry wouldn't let it last too long.

"Two minutes, Gin," Harry sighed, waving Draco to leave. The latter took his coffee as well as the Prophet with him.

"Two minutes?" she shrieked, and Harry felt certain Draco could hear her anyway, "That's all I'm worth to you now? I thought you actually were invested, actually wanted...something. You were there right afterwards when snogging and shagging was involved. Is that what it takes? Do I need to be willing to shag you in front of ferret face for you to want to be with me?"

"No, Gin," Harry sighed, "It's not that..."

"No normal wizard chooses to go this long without sex! You were gone for a couple months Down Under. And you've been back for months now, and we've barely snogged at all!" she accused him, jabbing her pointer finger of her free hand.

"I went for almost a year without seeing you," Harry defended himself, "I think I've proven myself not to be some sex-obsessed teenager. Look, if you want more snogging and sex, you can say so. You don't need to yell at me to bring that up."

"Don't you want to have sex with me? Do you not think I'm pretty enough for you now that you're a hero?" She accused.

"I've always been considered a hero. You're beautiful Gin, more so when you aren't yelling at me," Harry pointed out, trying his best to stay calm. She really tried his patience - almost as much as Draco did.

"So the fighting is my fault now? No, I don't suppose the Chosen One could have anything to do with it. You're too special to have such flaws. I just have to sit by and tolerate it as you replace me with Draco Malfoy," Ginny spit out the last words with disgust.

"Replace?" Harry looked confused.

"He sleeps in your room! You're always together. None of us can visit you without him being there. I'm the girlfriend. Shouldn't I be the one always there, rather than Malfoy?"
