"What were you doing?" Mom asked groggily. She seemed to have just woken up. She also looked slightly worried.

"Oh, nothing."

"Really? Cause I heard you murmuring something about bunnies."

I laughed. "Yeah.. I was having a daydream."

"Oh. Like one of your magic ones?"

"Yeah. I'll tell you about it later. Go get yourself something to eat."

"Okay.." She headed off.

I got myself a notebook and began to jot down everything we knew about the situation. I wrote all of my dreams that were important. I wrote the points from the note. By the time Mom had finished her breakfast, I had finished writing and given it to her to read through. She read with an expression of worry.

She looked at me with deep concern. "Are you really planning to do this? Because there is absolutely no way I'm going to let you. These people seem very dangerous, and the best plan of action should be to call the cops. But even after that not being an option, I don't think you should get yourself involved, or worry too much at all."

I stared at her, aghast. "Are you serious? This is something that should be handled with extreme caution and thought. And the more heads come together to do it, the better. We should've been plotting a rescue mission by now!"

She sighed. "I knew you would say something like that. But this is all so devastating. Especially on your birthday.. I can't imagine what you could even do to help. This is such a weird and confusing situation to be in. I have no idea what to do.." She let out a shaky breath.

"Yeah, I know. But we can try to come up with something. There has to be a way. And I might just have a plan." I explained to her what I had been thinking about ever since I woke up. Her eyes widened some more with every word I said. She shook her head, looking amazed and unbelieving at the same time.

"W-Wow.. Um, you really have been thinking this through."

"Yeah.. but it's not finished yet. I still need around the rest of the day to perfect the plan. Then we can leave by tomorrow morning."

"But do you really think this would work?"

"I hope so."

"And what about Pam and Cal? You think they should be involved? Or would want to be?"

"I don't know if they'd want to, but I certainly want them to. There is no one else i would want in my team. I hope you're willing to join as well?"

She took in a shaky breathe. "Yes, I think so.. Whatever challenges you will face there, I want to be with you. I absolutely do not want you to go on your own, especially if your friends decline."

"I know this is a huge thing to ask of them, and myself. But I think I know what I'm doing. It's a good plan, trust me. It may be unsafe at some points, but the whole while we'll know that we have support and backup."

She sighed. "Okay then.. I think we should call them here and brief them on what is going on. I don't think we can let their parents know, though. I don't think they'll take it well, or agree to it."

I nodded. "I'll call them now."
