After a couple of  weeks everything got back to normal, or at least how normal things could be, while being an heretic and having two vampire brothers. Stefan was going to school with his girlfriend, Elena, yet I could've bet that Damon has some feelings for her too. I was not going to involve myself, because last time when I did, things turned out pretty ugly!

At first, I was not so sure of how much I'd stay in that town, but noticing that my siblings had an issue with those original vampires, I decided to stay a bit longer. I didn't bother being with them, especially since it's been a while since we all spent some time together, but, seemingly, ever since I came back 'from the death', Damon couldn't stop acting like an overprotective older brother, feeling the need to tell me what to do. It was kind of cute, at first, seeing how he worried about me, but soon after, he really managed to get me crazy.

My alarm woke me up at 6:30 am like every morning.  Even though the mattress of my bed was soft and the pillows under my head were in the perfect position, I managed to get off the bed and head to the bathroom. I took a shower quickly, so I could reach the kitchen before the whole breakfast would be finished.

Being wrapped into a white towel, I left the bathroom, heading for the kitchen, only to see Damon cooking something, a really strange and rare imagine that I was probably never gonna see again. Did he even know how to cook?

"You feeling alright?" I asked him, while sitting on the nearest chair I reached. Without even turning in my direction, he nodded muttering a quick 'Yeah, why?' under his chin. "Well...usually the name Damon and the word cook don't really belong in the same sentence" He turned in my direction, giving me a clear vision of his yellow lot, which said 'Bros before hoes' on it, having a facial expression obviously disturbed by my remark. I couldn't help but laugh. Damon looked down at his body, noticing the reason why I had started laughing so heartily.

"Really? You couldn't help yourself until you left the kitchen?" I shook my head, feeling a tear leave my left eye, from laughing so much. "I couldn't risk staining my clothes, and this lot was the only one I could find"

"Of course, bro" I said sarcastically, still giggling a little. "Plus, where did you get that?"

"I found it in the house" I looked him straight in the eyes, trying to discover the truth in them, knowing that he was lying.

"You bought it" I said, after cheating a little, using my witch powers to flirt in his head for a few seconds. "I saw this!"

"Privacy, please, little sister!" The irritation on his face almost made me laugh again.

"Anyway, where's Stefan? You know, my favorite?" The grin on Damon's face disappeared a little as he turned to stirring something in that pan.

"He left the house earlier today! He said something about training Barbie" Damon replied, while putting some sort of burned pancake on my plate. I furrowed my eyebrows, looking curiously at the thing that Damon called Damon, hoping I wouldn't have to put it in my mouth.

Seeing how Damon was looking at me, as if he was waiting for me to do something, made me talk "Oh, you expect me to eat that?" He nodded, placing both of his hand on his hips. "Sorry, but I wanna live" I faked a smile, which made his face fall, as if I insulted him. "Training her for what?" I asked, changing the subject from the burned pancake, hoping he'd forget about it

"She's a vampire" He reminded me

"Okay, gotta go!" I forced a smile, passing quickly by him, not even touching the breakfast he made. I was about to grab something from the town.

"What about my pancake?" I quickened my pace, almost running, so that I could escape from that embarrassing situation. Before he knew it, I got out of the house, without even looking back.
