38. "What did I do?"

Rachel's pov

I saw a black van, and I could hear Klaus' voice.
For sure it were them.
I could see Ella in the van. She was crying. I ran to to her.
Smart plan! Okay, I was going to figure it out, right?

"It's okay, mommy's here. I'm gonna take you out of this place" I said quietly

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that, Love" I heared Klaus' voice behind me
I turned around slowly
Klaus and Dahlia were in front of me

"I'm not going to let you to take her!" I yelled
"Take me, just please don't take her!"

Klaus walked over to me. He kept hiding something behind him.
Our faces were so close.

"Klaus, don't help her! Plea-" Klaus stabbed me with a grey dagger in my stomach
I fell on my knees. I could feel blood coming out of my mouth.
Why did he do that?

"Shh, I have a plan" Klaus got on his knees, whispering in one of my ear
Everything got black.

Klaus' pov

"Great job, Niklaus!" Dahlia said
What did I do? I didn't even think! It was allright, I was just going to put Freya to find a cure. It wasn't going to be that hard..Freya's powerfull, right.
I wanted to scream in pain, but I couldn't! What would've Dahlia believed? She had to think that she could trust me.
But I had so many thoughs in my head then. What if I killed her?
No, her skin wasn't grey!
Dahlia got closer to Ella. I was still on my knees, holding Rachel's head on my legs.
I was shoked. How could I do that? HOW??

"Niklaus?" Dahlia said

"Oh, yeah, um.." I said getting up

"Allrught, let's get started" Dahlia said taking Ella from the van.

"Wait! I mean, first you need to channel me. Think about the power you'll have" I said getting up

"The plan was to channel Ella"

"I know, but think about the power. To be channeled with the otiginal Hybrid and with the only Tribrid from the world!" I tried to convince her

"You're probablly right...You really are a clever boy. I think that you got that from me" Dahlia said smiling
Finally, I convinced her! My plan was going to work!
"Give me your hands"

I gave her my hands. Dahlia started saying a spell

"It's done!" Dahlia said "Now let's channel Ella too!"
Why couldn't she feel anything? What if my plan failed?
I couldn't let Dahlia channel my child

"Wait! I think that...umm... Rachel moved" I said trying to get some time
Why wasn't she dead allready?

"Couldn't you just stab her right?" Dahlia said angry,going to Rachel's body
"Okay, if that dagger doesn't keep her still, then I'll need to kill her" Dahlia said ready to take the dagger out of Rachel's chest.
No,no,no,no! That wasn't my plan!

"No!" I yelled
Dahlia looked confused at me for like 3 seconds.

"I'm still gonna do i- Ahh" Dahlia put a hand on her forhead
"What did you do?"

"Something that I had to do"  Isaid smiling
The plan worked! She was dying

Dahlia fell on the floor. She was screaming in pain, but I wasn't sorry at all! Why would I be? I was actually proud of me!
She died

Ella was in the van, sleeping and I was on the ground, keeping Rachel's head on my knees. She had dry blood all around her mouth and her stomach(where the dagger was)

What did I do? What if Freya couldn't find a cure? What if I lost the only person that made me feel like myself with her?
She was the only eoman I truly loved.

I put my head on Rachel's chest, and I started tearing up. I know I wasn't that kind if guy, that cry, but Rachel was the only person I ever loved! She was my air, and she- could be dead because of me! If she died, I didn't even get to say a goodbye...I just- Ugh!
I did that to her! It was just my fault!
I started tearing up harder.
I heared some steps around me. I didn't raise my head. I just wanted to stay on Rachel's chest forever. I couldn't lose her!

"Niklaus" I heared Elijah's voice behind me
I finally raised my head. Freya was holding Ella in her arms and Elijah was looking at me shoked.
Who wouldn't be shoked?

We got in Elijah's car. I didn't say a word. I was on the back seat, with Rachel. Her eyes were still open. I took my hand off of her cheek and I closed her eyes.
