The sunlight through the window kept trying to wake you, and finally it did. The breeze that was cool and welcome last night was gone, and now it was warm and summery all over again. You started to throw the numerous blankets off to the side, but as you began to pull one, you found it was almost...stuck. You turned to see Loki still there beside you. You couldn't help but take in his sleeping face. Peaceful. His eyes relaxed and his eyebrows no longer turned up as they often were. The facade of toughness was torn down, and you couldn't pull your gaze away from him despite the fact that it pulled you even deeper into your fascination.

You tried to slowly get out of the bed so at to not wake him, but as your weight lifted from the mattress, you heard a moan escape his lips. It was angelic, and extremely hot. You slowly walked toward the bathroom. As you began to freshen up for the day it occured to you that someone might come looking for him, and how weird that might look. Should you wake him? He says he never sleeps, and now you'll wake him from probably the only rest he's had all week. You decided you couldn't risk Frigga or Thor finding him in here, especially when you've tried so hard to convince them to let Loki train you. The idea that you only wanted this because you liked him was not something you wanted circling Asgard.

"Loki," you whispered and began to press into his arm with your hand. It was even stronger feeling than you'd imagined, and you truly had imagined it. "Hey. Hey are you going to wake up? Someone could coming looking for you." He rolled on his side to face you and let out another groan that sent electricity through your body. "Good morning," you said, still in a whisper.

"Who do you assume is coming to find me?"

"I don't know. Thor. Frigga. Laufey."

"Funny."

"You can stay. If you're tired. I got paranoid but it's fine, really. I'm glad you decided to stay over."

"I fell asleep."

"I thought you never sleep?"

He sat up in the bed and brushed his hair away from his face. He then stretched his arms to the sky and back. You could watch him do the simplest things all day. Suddenly you heard a knock at the door.

"See! I knew this would happen. Go in the closet!"

"I beg your pardon?"

"We can't have people see that you slept here. They'll come to conclusions that I don't have the energy to dispell."

"Fine." He laughed and got up, trying to fit his height into the closet. You threw his side of the bed together in a rush then opened the door. It was Bragi.

"Oh. Hi, Bragi. What are you doing here? I mean, sorry, what's up?"

"I should've come later, I'm sorry. I wanted to see if maybe you wanted to go to the book shop I told you about the other day. But you were probably still asleep, I don't want to be rude."

"No, uh, it's fine. I'd like that. Can you give me just a little while? I can meet you in the courtyard." Suddenly you heard a crash of things onto the floor from the closet. You tried to act like nothing even happened, but you saw Bragi's eyes wander toward the room behind you.

"Okay, yes. I'll see you there."

You closed the door, and as soon as it shut, Loki came out of the closet and began gathering himself to leave. You didn't know what to say.

"Well, thank you for letting me join you. Have a good day, Iduna." he left before you could respond.

You saw Bragi sitting on a stone bench out in the courtyard writing in a small notebook. As he saw you approach, he stuffed it into his pocket and walked over to meet you.
