You spent your morning "training" with Loki, which consisted of him continuously throwing daggers at you when you were distracted to see if they'd do anything.

"Incredible. Do you have any idea the tricks I could do with this type of ability?"

"I thought you weren't going to inject them."

"Oh, I'm not, but I can fantasize can't I?"

He certainly could, and after the view, you got of him in his bathroom the night before, you did too. You wanted more moments like that. Like at the- YOUR lake, or the swing on the tree. You were too pussy to ask, but you prayed he'd do the asking for you.

"This morning, you know, at the time most people wake up."

"I was up at 10!" You retorted.

"Right. Anyway, I was informed that Odin and Frigga want us to get some information about an Asgardian thief. He's been robbing small shops and stands but with your past, we might be able to catch him in the act if he sees the apples."

"They refuse to let me go anywhere and now they want me on a mission?"

"Not exactly. They want me on a mission, technically, but this is good practice for you. Plus, now we know there's no chance of you getting hurt and me getting scolded for it."

You were silent and you knew he was right, but that didn't make the idea sound any more inviting.

"So? Later this week?"

"Fine. I'm bringing the dagger this time."

"Of course."

You had lunch plans with Eir later that day, and you knew you had to tell her about the day with Bragi and the poems. As well as convince her to spill about her secret girlfriend. When you approached her at her favorite cafe, she was already spitting out as many questions as she could at once.

"So what the hell is up with you and Bragi? He mentioned you went on a date. What happened with Loki? Did he do something? I'll kill him. And I won't even let you heal him when I do."

"I guess you could call it a date. I'm still acting like a fool around Loki whenever my brain forces me to, and no, he did nothing wrong."

"So it's a love triangle? Why haven't you told me about all this?"

"No. And you're one to talk! Bragi told me about this mystery lady you failed to mention."

"That dumbass. Yes. I've been seeing someone. You'll meet her eventually but I'm not even sure about it yet. But back to you."

You rolled your eyes at her. "I don't know. Bragi has been writing me these poems. Loki even saw one and made a joke about it. He doesn't seem jealous at all."

"What an ass!"

"Right! Bragi's sweet and our time together was nice. I never thought he saw me as more than a friend."

"Things change, goddesses grow up and become hot and they're not childhood friends anymore. Do you like him?"

"Sure. I've seen him once in what, hundreds of years now? And we've been on one date? He's great, Eir but I'm not ready to jump down his throat."

"Not like Loki, you mean."

"You said it, not me."

"And how is our god of mischief? Still jump scaring everyone in Asgard?"

"He's good. He's...made my time here more interesting."

"Have you kissed?
"Jesus! No. We don't do anything like that. We train, we explore."
