Act 1: Earth

Earth: The body. The soul beneath one's feet.

Grounding, anchoring, settling, for hungry roots to eat.

Before the harvest, must be soil, a burial of seed.

For love to grow in nutrients, one breaks the shell of greed.

The lowest point, below the air, a'waiting for the sun.

Feed thy Earth, from her embrace, her earthy veils undone.

For Earth is where the mother rests, and so it shall begin.

And buried in this resting tomb, from hence it too may end.

Yet from the soil, and through the strife, life can start again.

If souls entwined can see it through, on Earth where it began.
