Divided Sea

Let me write a poem about you,

let me tell the people about you

let me scream your name on the top of the castle we built bare-footed that is deep rooted in each others care and cocoon of love

Let me tell the people about,

let me tell them how you rescue and create this safety net, this spiderweb where you bring protected food that is home grown from deep within your heart

Let me scream your name as we watch the fire that grows larger,
as it is engulfing the withstanders with you deep love for each and every one who breaks through your protected walls of fear and self-hate

let them,

feel how your soft words dance through the waves of the air
as your self shines its light on us like a tall watchtower,
helping us guide our ships in the right direction without fear,
without coming near the end

Let me tell them how you move with every breath you take,
with every living moment you reach where you stand taller and farther away from what you did and nearer what you are doing
