A brown hair teenage girl walks the steps into the train station with bags in hand dressed in her school uniform. It was that time again, time to head back to school. The station full of children wearing the same clothes, all of them headed off to the same place. Josephine, she prefers Jo, actually quite enjoys school. She enjoyed being able to socialize with people her age rather than being stuck at home with her mother. It's just the two of them and as much as the girl adores her mother she also enjoys the break away. She's quite smart as well, it's her intelligence that brought her up to the same year as her best friend Susan Pevensie. The two girls met a year ago in class and became instant friends.
Two girls running into the Underground bump into Jo's shoulder causing her to drop her bag. Jo mumbles a sorry under her breath and quickly grabs her bag from the floor. When she looks up she realizes that it's Susan and Lucy that ran into her.
"Susan!" She shouts after her friend, "What's going on?"
"Come on, Jo!" Susan ushers the girl to follow them.
Jo picks up the pace, rushing to catch up with the two girls. She's only a step or two behind them when she hears chanting. A bunch of students have gathered on the stairs shouting, "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
She pushes through the crowd and finds Susan standing with her little sister looking down at the fight with a disappointed and irritated look on her face. Jo looks onto the fight seeing three boys pushing around a familiar blonde boy.
"Is that your brother?" Jo asks almost in shock. She'd heard that Peter had been in a fight or two before but never seen it.
"Unfortunately." Susan answers with a roll of her eyes.
Suddenly Susan and Jo are shoved to the side as someone makes their way through the crowd.
"Edmund!" Lucy shouts after the boy.
Edmund tackles one of the boys to the ground and to put it simply Jo is impressed. She didn't know the boy had it in him. Jo actually doesn't know much about Susan's siblings other than a few basic things. The four of them really keep to themselves. Jo has never really understood why, she's an only child so maybe she just doesn't understand the dynamics of having siblings.
