A world of good and love fallen to its knees, a man in white crawls onto a step. Blood gushing from his nose down to his hands. He pulled himself up with barely any strength to just be on his knees, tears lightly bleeding down his face. He looked up to the figure standing before him and the fallen world and asked "w-why are you doing this?"
The robot-human figure barely even noticing the sorrow looked down to him and said "Fate can only be determined by destiny. If you knew what was ahead of you, you'd be glad." The figure glared at the fearful man and felt no emotion. The man had nothing left to say. Nothing, until he looked over and saw someone covered in rubble and ashes lying half dead. "Raven..." he whispered. He couldn't help but pull up all his remaining strength and try to run to the girl.
When he reached her, he fell onto his knees. He barely pulled half of her body out of the rubble when she suddenly awoken. Blood rushed out of the back of her head, and ashes covered her whole torn up body and clothing. "Azar, Azzie..." she whispered to him. "No no no, shhhhh shhhhh shh shh. It's okay, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." He said and he caressed her face in the palm of his hand. The girl hadn't opened her eyes, for she was dying.
Their whole world around them was collapsing. The man could barely keep himself together as he cradled the girl in his arms. Without a doubt in his head, he stood up and ran so far with her close to his chest. He knew she wouldn't survive, so he ran to the Lazarus pit to heal her dying body. He didn't have much time, for he was dying also. But nothing could've stopped him from saving his one love. When they arrived, he kneeled down to the pit, and placed some of the body into the glowing liquid. The girl opened her eyes, feeling coldness and heat run down her spine.
"Azar, what are you doing?"
"My love, my love. You will be okay."
"Can't you see we are dying together?"
"I know, our bodies are one, but I still want to save you before I save myself"
"No. I wanna part this world, with you."
"We cannot just yet.",
"Please don't do this."
"I must my love. My queen. I must..."
"No, please no!"
Tears streamed his face as he laid her into the pit, instantly healing her body. She floated up as their hands stroked one another. "Azzie... what have you done?" She brokenly asked. "Honey, it's okay. We are going to be okay." He stated. But those were not to be truthful, as a loud boom faded across the world. They looked around, and saw cracks busting in.
Fear overwhelmed them. Nothing could've been done like what was about to happen. "We have to go, now!" He told the girl. "What?" She cried. "C'mon honey." He grabbed her hand and they ran as fast as they could. Cracks were falling behind them, and broken hearts were being felt. He knew time had shriveled away into nothing, but the girl had nothing but confusion and fear in her veins.
No explanation was found in anything. Nothing could prepare her for what was coming. When they fell onto the breaking ground, they had gotten to where they needed to be. To the man nothing else mattered in that moment except for her. "Where are we?" She asked, obviously worried. "The place I need you to be." He stated. He knew she was worried about him more than anything else, and nothing could stop her from sobbing and shivering with fear.
He grabbed her by the waist and hugged her tight. When the man did so, the girl rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped her legs around his waist, crying cause she felt something wrong. "It's okay baby. It's okay. You're gonna be okay babe." He comforted. He pulled her face up by the chin and kissed her blue lips. She kissed him back as cold wind started flooding in. He walked over towards a tree still holding her tight, lips pressed against one another, placing her in a hole of a tree.
"Wait what are you doing?" The girl asked. She pulled away but held him close as tears flashed her pale white cheeks. "My love, we cannot be forever like we want." He said.
"What do you mean? No, no we can. "
"We can't my love. We can't. I'm sorry."
"Wh- what are you saying?"
"I'm saying that I love you. And you need to be safe, okay?"
" Please don't leave me..."
"We will reunite together one day. I promise you Raven. We will be together again. Okay?"
"Okay. " she said, shakenly. He smiled at her and caressed her cheek one more time and whispered to her "that's my girl." He giggled. The smile on his face faded as the winds were turning colder and the world started to quiver. "You need to go..." he commanded. "I'm scared Azar. I can't do this." She cried out. "You can, we will reunite together again, and we will be forever. Okay?" The man spoke. "Okay."
The girl sobbed. "Okay, I love you so much Raven." He sobbed. "I love you too Azar. I always will." The girl whispered.
They kissed each other one final time before he let her go, falling into the void faster than lightning. "We will unite again my love!" He called out. The girls eyes closed as the tree she faded into broke into pieces, feeling nothing. Her memories of her and the man played over and over again in her head. What seemed like forever was only temporary, and what she thought would happen was false. She turned herself around as light opened wide. Eventually she flew out on her feet to a sidewalk.
She glanced around and cried out "Azzie!" Before everything around her started to feel unreal. "Where the hell am I?" She asked herself, then reality hit her. Sound started ringing, pain filled her chest, the world started spinning, and blood started spilling out of her mouth onto her body and concrete. She screamed but nothing was heard. She instantly blacked out and felt nothing anymore.
