Friday came. The day for the date had arrived. David was getting ready and was shaking like a leaf. He hung out with many many women before, but none quite like Diana. She was a strange person to him, however that's what he liked about her. He didn't even know how to describe her when she was talked about with David's friends and family. Then it finally hit him: "Oh finally! A girl who isn't like other girls without being a tryhard!" He whispered to himself. It was the first time he ever took care of himself without the need to show the internet.

Diana on the other hand was already ready, except for one thing. She wanted to bring a gift to Dave, but she didn't know what he liked. She thought about giving him a rose, or chocolates, or even a cat. But she didn't know if Dave liked any of those things. She eventually decided to go out and find something that she knew he would like. She mumbled to herself a little doing so. She didn't know anything about him except for the fact he was a YouTuber. She walked down all the streets of London, thinking about what he could possibly like. After a while she wanted to give up and leave empty handed, but that's when she saw something buried. Something black and yet somehow shiny. When she uncovered it she whispered "BINGO!" to herself and took it to give to David.

David was doing the same, except he knew what to give her. It was simple yet elegant to give. He just needed to get out and find her. Diana had to do the same thing. They were on their way, but just needed to find out where they were. Diana was really worried he would've forgotten, but David was scared she would've stood him up. He even started to shiver at the thought. Diana got teary eyed, but they kept on walking. They eventually ran into each other and found themselves.

"Hey Diana!"

"Hey David!"

"Oh my God it's so nice to see you again!"

"I was so worried you had forgotten about the date. "

"I thought you were gonna stand me up."

"Aw no! No of course not!"

"I'm so freaking happy you didn't "

"Awww! Oh! I got something for you"

"Oh! Thanks! What is it?"

"Its a black diamond. I found it somewhere buried and it reminded me of you!"

"Awww. Well I got something for you too, it's not anything big."

"Oh that's okay."

"Here, uh it's a purple rose."

"I love purple roses! How did you find one? They're so rare!"

"They're rare? I just found one at the flower store in the rose section. One left, so I took it!"

"Woah! Thank you so much Dave! I love it."

"You're welcome Diana." He replied. Eventually he held out his arm and Diana latched onto his arm. They started walking out in the street. It was the evening and hardly anyone else was out. They stayed silent for a bit, as they were both shy to each other and didn't know what to say. David was turning red, he was a little unsure of what to think of her. His eyes couldn't stop staring at her. But Diana was turning really pale, she was scared of him slightly. Men kinda scarred her when she would befriend them. She thought it was her fault cause she was weird and they would try to harm her, but she hoped he was different from the others. Eventually David started up a conversation.

"So, Ms Diana, how long have you lived here?"

"Uh, about a couple years actually. I moved back in February 2019."

"Woah. Where have you lived before?"

" I was born in Russia actually but I was adopted into the U.S after my family abandoned me."
