Fire, Fire, Burn

(Y/n) POV

It was very early in the morning. The sun was rising. The Terrible Terrors are singing-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?!?!"
......... and Snotlout yelling as his butt was on fire.........

What a great morning.......

"Snotlout stop running! Your only making it worse!" You yelled as Snotlout continues.

"Ugh fine. Moonlight can you please." You asked your friend, as she nodded flying up to grab Snotlout, then throwing him in the ocean below.

When he eventually got back up he was soaked. "You need to get that thing under control. It tried to make me its breakfast." Snotlout pointed at the hot-head.

The dragon looked at Snotlout with glare. "I know Snotlout I'm working on but hot-head's don't get along well with any type of dragon...... including their own kind. Their a very independent." You said.

"If their soooooo independent then why is it ok with you feeding it?!" Snotlout asked- yelled as the dragon nuzzled its head into your stomach.

"I don't feed it." You said emotionless

Their was a long pause between you and Snotlout, as you both just stare at each other.

You saw Snotlout opening his mouth about to start yelling again but you interrupted.

"Wait please don't start yelling!!! Let me explain the reason why I don't feed them!" You said waving your hands. Thankfully the Loudmouth Viking became as quiet as a changewing stocking it's pray.

You sigh."I don't feed it cuz I don't want it to get to attached to me, I know I should be happy about it that I might be able to train a dragon that is not trainable but..." you paused hoping that Snotlout would get what your trying to say.

"Well are you going to continue?"

'Of course he didn't get it'

"But being this close to the same type of dragon that kill and burned my family is a little...... unsettling." You said rubbing your arms, since the hot-head is no longer nuzzling you.

Snotlout was quite as you began to feed Moonlight.

Their was an awkward silence between the both of you until Snotlout ask the question you hope you never had to answer.

"What happened to them?"

You froze but quickly recovered as you cleared your throat. "What do you mean? My family? The Hot-Heads came. They killed, and then left nothing much to it." You said turn away from him, as you grab a brush to brush your night fury.

"Well-I know that but I meant did they burn to death? Did they get eaten? Did they-"
"THEY DIED ALRIGHT!!!" You yelled quickly stopping Snotlout's sentence.

You where filled with so much hate at that moment you didn't notice the tears that started to form.

"What's going on in here?" A voice was heard from the doors of the stables. You didn't need to look at the person to know who it belongs too.

"Nothing Hiccup. The Hot-Head needs to leave. I'm going out to find a suitable island for it." You said with no emotion.

You quickly hope on Moonlight's saddle and took off.

Hiccup POV

As (Y/n) flew off I turned to Snotlout.

"What did you do?" I ask with an knowing look.He quickly put up his hands in defense.

"Nothing I just ask her about her family."

Her family........

HER FAMILY!!!!!!

"Are you serious Snotlout why would you talk to her about one of the things that bother her the most!? Are you that stupid!!??" I said as I rub my index finger and thumb on the bridge of my nose.

"What?! I was just curious-"

"But it's none of your business. It's none of any of ours business! If she wanted us to know then she'll tell us herself." I explain to him but I thought he already knew. I guess I was wrong.

"We want her to feel like this place is her home but we can't do that if we keep bringing up her old life." I sighed thinking if I should go after her or not.

"Well ever since she came back when she went after her friend you have been avoiding her like when Astrid makes her Yak-nog for Snoggletog!" Snotlout said crossing his arms.

I opened my mouth to reply but closed it and took a deep breath. "Your right...... I have been avoiding her lately." I said in defeat.

Snotlout look surprised. "Wait I'm right?"

"Yes you are......... for once. It's just I was so mean and I yelled at her! I just didn't think she wanted to see me yet" I said scratching the back of my head.

"Listen Hiccup, (Y/n) and I have been hanging out a lot and I learned something. She doesn't want to be alone but she doesn't want to be with anyone...... she wants to be with you." Snotlout said as he put a hand on my shoulder.

"Wow Snotlout I never you of all people would say something like that." I said with a smirk. "But now I know what to do. Toothless come on bud!"

I yelled to him and quickly hopped on. I took off.

(Y/n) POV

Moonlight, me, and the Hot-Head flew across the ocean as we looked for a island for our hot headed friend. 'Friend hu it's still a little weird to know that I'm friends with a creature that could kill me without warning.'

That reminded me of what Snotlout said. I quickly shook my head and then hit it once with my fist.

Moonlight roared in concern, I rubbed her head. "I'm ok girl, it happened years ago I need to move on. Besides.... We need to fine a place for this guy." I say sounding happier.

IM NOT DEAD!!!!!!

Ok now that I got that out of the way. I know y'all probably are done with this story and that my fault for not posting. Sorry.
