(Y/n) POV

It was dark outside. The moon being the only light we have. Moonlight groaned as we flew.

"I know girl I'm getting tired too...... Maybe we can stop by the next island we see and take a rest?.. What do ya say guys?" You said looking at both dragons.

They nodded, now looking for a place to rest.

'Man I missed this just Moonlight and me exploring well with the extra friend along.' You giggled as you thought but a familiar sound came to your ears.

It sounded like something flying fast throw the wind.... A Night Fury? No they sound more heavier this sounds like-

"MOONLIGHT FLY UP!" You yelled but you where to late the arrow was already hit its target.

You.

The arrow head was deep into your left shoulder. You yelled out in pain, as more arrow came Moonlight and the Hot-Head quickly flew up out of the shooters range.

Moonlight let out a worried growl as you squeeze your arm with your opponent hand. "I'm ok-" you said quickly.

"I'm ok- we've- had worse- OHhh but this strings. Ok never mind I'm not fine this hurts really bad." You said as you looked down to see dragon hunter ships. Three dragon hunter ships.

You pull out the arrow which caused you to bite your tongue so you didn't yell again.

"Go after him men and make sure his alive." You hear one of the hunters say.

'He?' You thought. 'Are they after the Hot-Head?' You looked up at the dragon only for it to be gone.

You heard a roar from below. You quickly look down to see that he was racing down probably angry at the hunters for shooting at you.

Moonlight quickly dove after after him. You and Moonlight had no trouble dodging the arrow but the Hot-Head is bigger and he's blinded by his rage to care.

So of course he gets hit and the hunters quickly began putting restraints on the poor creature.

You jump off of Moonlight as you near the ship you grab one of the dangling rope's that are for the sails of the ship and landed with your metal staff in hand, while you shoulder still in pain.

Hunters came at you but they didn't get far because a purple blast stop them in their tracks. Moonlight landed beside you wings out ready for a fight as the Hot-Head is behind the both of you.

You both heard a slow clapping as a tall figure came into view. He was bald with a mustache.

"Well what do we have here?.... A Night Fury.... And.... What is that thing behind you?" His voice sounded rough and a little annoying.

"It's none of your concern what he is. Now listen here baldie I'm going to take these ropes off the dragon and me and my dragon are going to fly away. While you and your men stay here." You say your voice sounding as serious as you can. Ignoring the pain in your shoulder.

"Oh no I don't think so. You see I am Ryker. I am a hunter. And your on my ship." He says angrily.

"Well I am (Y/n). I am a dragon rider. And this dragon behind me is called a Hot-Head......." You said with a smirk.

"And those arrows you shot at him don't work as well as you think." As you finish you fell the heat from behind you.

You quickly hop on Moonlight as she took the the sky once again. You turn to see the Hot-Head's body staring to glow a bright red as the ropes that where holding it got turned into ashes.

He spread his wings and let out a huge fire blast, while the hunters quickly fled to the other ships or the ocean below. As the ship begins to sink the the dragon flew off into the distance. Away form the hunters. Away from the ships. And away from you and Moonlight.

"Well I guess that's all he wanted... to make us even." You as you moved your left arm to pat Moonlight's but quickly regretting as the pain in your shoulder returned.

"Let's go home girl" you said as we flew back to Dragons Edge.

Ryker's POV

I watch as the girl and the beast ran away with a scowl on my face.

"Sir. What do we do now?" A hunter asked.

"We return to Viggo."

"And tell him theirs another Night Fury we can catch."
