After school, the two were in the small room with Komori as he didn't want to be home with his sisters but he sort of regretted it as he constantly heard them argue about which piece to play.

"This one!"

"No this one! It's a first place confirmed piece if you play it right!"

"I feel offended?!" Sakusa and Y/n were both going back and forth as the door opened. "Can I borrow her for a second? It'll be quick." her dad said, pointing to Y/n who walked over to him as he closed the door.

"I know this is sudden but your doctor wants to do another check up.."

"Again? I thought it wasn't until three weeks?"

"He said he found something that he wants to discuss, it'll be after school tomorrow." D/n ruffled Y/n's hair, trying to comfort her. "He found something? Is my body that—"

"Sorry to interrupt but he agreed to play the piece you chose." Komori said, scaring the two a bit as his head was poking out from the door frame. "Finally! What took you so long to realize that I was right?!" she walked back in the room, her dad giving her a pity look before he walked away.

"I just don't want to hear you whine anymore."

"Yeah sure—"

"Who's violin is this?" Komori asked, pointing to the one that was hung up on the wall, he looked over to the pieces of papers next to it, some were certificates as the others were music sheets. "My mom's."

"She plays the violin?"

"Played but yeah she did, she was really good at it too." she said, looking through the crate of folders, all filled with music sheets of different kinds of songs. "Sakusa, you play the second row, i'll do the first." he nodded as she placed two separate pieces of papers onto the stand.

Komori watched how they both placed their fingers onto the keys at the same time. "One, two, three." she counted down before they pressed down on to the keys.

In all honesty, Sakusa always loved how she played, even if he seen her play less than five times, she never failed to surprise her. He could hear her playing more than his own which worried him a bit as he pressed the wrong key, causing her to stop and look at him.

"Again."

And they tried again and again and again and again to the point where Komori ended up falling asleep on the floor as the music made him tired. "You keep pressing the wrong key! Why are you so distracted? Did something happen in that little tiny brain of yours?"

"Are you like this..to yourself? So harsh and—"

"Shut up, i'm tired. You can leave now and i'm going to bed." she stood up from the bench, going over to Komori as she tried to wake him up. "Eyebrows, wake up."

"Wake up your friend, i'll tell Dad you're leaving." she said before she walked out the room, going into the living room. "You're down early. Did something happen?" he asked, looking at his daughter. "No, they're leaving now and i'm going to go to bed." she said as Komori was trying to keep his eyes awake, Sakusa right behind him, trying to hold him up as they said their goodbyes, both Y/n and D/n hearing the door close.

"What happened?"

"He reminds me too much of Mom, it's starting to annoy me."

"Is it a bad thing or a good thing?" D/n asked as Y/n sat next to him on the couch. "Both." she answered, pulling the blanket over her body. "And why is that?"

"It just is.."
