She didn't come to school the next day and the days after that. Sakusa and Komori were both worried as they were walking to her house. They saw the house lights off, figuring no one was home but her dad's car was in the drive way.

A few seconds later she had came out to throw the trash but her father came out right after her, taking it out himself as he told her to go inside.

"L/n!" she heard them call her, ignoring them as she went back inside. "She isn't feeling well, if you're wondering why she wasn't at school..she's been dealing with a..cold." her dad said, Sakusa noticed how his eyes seemed red and how his face looked tired as he had bags under his eyes.

"Oh, well I hope she feels better." Komori said, Sakusa nodded before they walked back to their house. Her dad went back inside, hearing the sounds of papers being thrown. "Y/n?" he walked up the stairs, looking at the piles of music sheets right outside the door.

"What are you doing—"

"There's no point in playing..the doctors said my body's getting weaker and weaker every day. This stupid duet..I should've said no.." she stood up, almost falling over but her dad quickly rushed over to her, holding her up as her eyes started to close.

"Stupid boy..such a loser too."

It's been a week and a half since she hasn't came to class. Komori and Sakusa were really worried, they kept going over to her house but her dad said that he didn't want no one else getting sick.

Sakusa noticed how her room light wasn't on since the last time he came over, wondering if she was actually in her room. He looked at her dad, basically trying to see if he was lying.

He was but he wasn't.

Sakusa knew that there was something going on with her but of course she felt as if she didn't want anyone to carry the burden of knowing what was going to happen. "Can I talk to her?" it was unexpected response coming from him.

"But you'll get sick—"

"I'll talk to her outside the room."

"You'll still get sick—"

"But I want to see her." he said without thinking, but he really did want to see her. To him it felt like she had disappeared again, from the first time he saw her, to the second and to now. "I'm sorry..but she doesn't want to see anyone right now..It's not your fault, she just doesn't want to be..near anyone."

"Oh okay..Tomorrow then?"

"Kiyoomi—"

"Hopefully." and with that her dad closed the door, Sakusa looked back to her room window, noticing it was still dark as it looked untouched. He thought that if she wasn't feeling well that he'd go home and practice, hoping to make her feel more at ease once she gets better.

"The results are in."

"There's too many test..have been since I have ten."

"Sorry Ms. Y/n but your heart has been getting weaker, along with your body so we have to take test like these to make sure where it's at everyday."

"I just want to go home.."
