The auditorium was filled with people from around the world all just to see him play. You see, it wasn't just any type of competition, it was a global competition, one where he was accepted to play for everyone to see.

One for her to see.

No one could see her but she was there front row watching everyone that she would've loved to compete with compete with him. Komori was even there as he played cello while Sakusa was playing piano.

It wasn't his turn yet since he was to go last but he watched everyone else go and have a turn. He looked off into the auditorium, surprisingly, it was the same auditorium where they first met.

The papers in his hands weren't the music sheets but it was her letters, he kept them after six years as he's twenty two now. He reread them over and over until his head started to hurt. He had kept them safe of water or anything that'll mess it up.

If she were there to see him holding on to those letters he knew she would've joked about how much of a baby he was because of how he cried so much reading them.

"Kiyoomi, it's your turn." Komori said smiling as Sakusa nodded as he stood up, walking onto the stage as the crowd cheered for him. For a second, just for a bit he could've sworn he saw her in the audience. It almost made his heart jump but he realized that she wasn't there.

He walked towards the bench, sitting himself down as he placed the letters on to the stand. He didn't need a music sheet as he was practicing the piece for years, the one the two were going to duet on.

He felt his body get warmer as if someone was hugging him from behind. He looked back to the audience, his eyes widening as he saw her there smiling at him. He then turned to the side of him where she was also there right next to him, seemingly holding his hand.

"Are you just going to keep looking at me? Or are we going to play this duet Kiyoomi?"
