A man in his 30s was standing near the window and looking at the scenario outside. He was thinking all the things that has happened in his life. And within a short span of time how many things has changed.
Rebecca:- Excuse me, You will be glad after listening, what I am going to tell.
Man:- My ears are longing to listen something good.
Rebecca:- You can go back to your home, And meet your loved ones.
Man:- Really, It's really a wonderful nice. Thanks a lot Miss Rebecca, for whatever you did.
Rebecca:- It's my duty to help people as a doctor and also as a human.
Man:- Wow, I like that, or else people forget humanity.
Rebecca:- Thanks,
The man smiled and came out of his ward.
A boy of age 5 was playing with his ball. His smile which was like his father, smooth and charming. And his eyes that contained a lot of questions were like his mother's.
He was playing when he kicked hard and that ball went far. The ball ended up at someone's feet.
Boy:- Uncle! Woh meri ball hai, kiya aap mujhe de sakte hain.
The boy went towards him, who had the ball in his hands.
The man handed the ball to the boy when the boy suddenly said-
Arey, aap to woh photo wale baba ho na?
Man:- Han?
Boy:- mera matlab hai ki aap to ekdam mere baba jaise dikhte ho. Waise hi aankhen, baal , aapki smile sab kuch!!
Man:- Aapka naam kiya hai?
Boy:- 'Anurag Roy Choudhary, Bondita Roy Choudhary aur Anirudh Roy Chaudhary ka beta'. He said proudly.
The man's eyes welled up and he said:-
Aapki mamma se mil sakta hun?
Boy:- Pata nahin maa abhi milengi yaa nahi.
Man:- kiyun?
Boy:- Woh bohut kam milti hain kisi se bhi. Sirf tab milti hain jab unka koi case ka kaam rehta hai. Aur to aur woh mithaiyan bhi nahi khati, mano jaise unhe bohut badi dushmani ho usse. Hamesha mere baba ko yaad karti hain. Khair, me unhe bula ke laata hun.
In the room,
Anurag:- Maa aapse koi milne aaye hain.
Bondita:- Kon hain?
Anurag:- 'Pata nahi'. He said and ran away.
Bondita went outside but to her surprise no one was there. Suddenly, a voice echoed in her ear. Which she was longing to hear, tears started to flow from her eyes. She turned and muttered,- Pati babu.
And she closed her eyes. Anirudh went to her and said-
Itne dinon baad dekh rahi ho, aankhe bhi nahi khologi?
Bondita:- Nahi, Agar aankhe Kholungi to aap phir se gayab ho jaogi, bilkul sapne ki tarah.
Anirudh:- Tumhe apne pati babu pe bharosa nahi hain?
Bondita slowly opened her eyes, but this time Anirudh didn't disappear, instead he opened his arms, in blink of eyes, Bondita ran and hugged him tightly. She was crying very hard. Anirudh couldn't control his tears and the tears started to flow from his eyes. He was consoling her and patting her head with love and affection. Bondita was holding him really tightly, as if she leaves, He will disappear. They remained in each other's arm for a long time when Anurag came and said:-
'Mamma, Yeh to bilkul baba ke tarah dikhte hai na? Maine inse poochha tha par inhone kuch kaha hi nahi'.
They separated and Bondita smiled and said- Anu, yeh tumhare baba hi hain.
Anurag:- Dekha Maine kaha tha na, ki baba zaroor aayenge. Aa gye, mere baba aa gye. He was screaming in joy.
Anirudh smiled and said- Bilkul tum pe hi gye hai. Jab bhi tum khush hoti thi, to aise hi chillati aur uchhalne lagti thi.
Then, Bondita looked at Anirudh with questioning eyes.
Anirudh understood that she is confused about what happened years ago..
FLASHBACK:-
Anirudh was returning back, after buying sweets for Bondita. But as the roads were slippery, He crashed with the tree and injured his head. A doctor named Rebecca who was on that way, saw the accident and before the car could catch fire he pulled Anirudh out of the car. Anirudh was saved but was not in his conscious state. Rebecca, being a doctor, immediately took him to her hospital and started the treatment. She came to know that, due to severe injury in his head, he is in coma.
Even though many a times her colleagues said, it's no use of keeping him alive, but she never lose hope.
And so, after 5 years he came out of coma . Anirudh didn't knew anything at first as he couldn't remember anything that what happened when he was returning back to tulsipur but then Rebecca said about the accident.
As soon as Anirudh healed he came to meet his love.
And so he came.
Flashback Ends.
After listening to all these, Bondita looked at Anirudh with lots of emotions.
Anirudh saw her and realised that she has suffered alot. Her hands which were once painted with alta was now plain. He saw that the eyes which used to be lined with kohl and carried lots of happiness, excitement and questions are now filled with pain and tears. Her hairline was blank without any vermillion.
He understood that after he went, many things have changed, but one thing that didn't change was the love of Bondita for him in her eyes.
A lone tear escaped from Anirudh's eyes after seeing all these things. He wiped Bondita's tears and said
'Ab kiyun ro rahi ho? Main aa gya hu na, tumhare paas wapas..
Bondita:- Main to isiliye ro rahi hun, kyunki aap ro rahe ho. She said and wiped his tears.
Anirudh:- Ab main hamesha tumhare saath rahunga, Wada hai yeh Anirudh Roy Choudhury ka.'
And then he told her to close her eyes, and as soon she closed, Anirudh took out a box from his pocket, Took a pinch of Sindoor and filled her hairline. Some of it fell on her nose indicating , that no matter what the circumstances is but he will always love her. Even if the whole world is against her, he will always be with her, her hands in his and walking side by side.
Bondita looked at Anirudh and smiled to her fullest. After a span of 5 years she had smiled with her heart, no fakeness but so pure and real smile.
Anirudh placed a safe kiss on her forehead and looked at his son who had already slept on the sofa, Anirudh and Bondita smiled at their son who is sleeping without any worries of this world.
Anirudh holded Bondita's hand and made his way out of the home towards the garden listening to the patter of the rain, which was the season's first rain, or maybe the nature was also happy after witnessing the reunion of the two souls.
