_________________________________'Patibabu, Patibabu, bachao! Dekho woh mere paas aa raha hai. Mujhe bachao..' screamed Bondita.
'Bondita, tum thk to ho? Main hun na tumhare paas, kuch nahi hoga. Aur wahan pe koi bhi nahi hai.' Said Anirudh in a calm voice with tears in his eyes.
'Maine to use maar diya hai, phir kiyun aata hai woh mere paas? Batayie na Patibabu!! Pata hai, Usne mujhe phir se chhune ki koshish ki.' Said Bondita.
'Kuch nahi hai Bondita, tum pehle yahan aao, niche kiyun baithi ho? Aao upar baitho. Aur ye aansu tumhare aankhon me achche nahi lagte, samjhi.' Said Anirudh and wiped her tears. He took her in his embrace and tears flew down from his eyes.
It's been 2 months since Anirudh's and Bondita's marriage. Even though Anirudh tried a lot to ignore Bondita but destiny had some other plans.
Chandrachood was adamant to take revenge from Bondita as she had left him 8 years ago in between their marriage. When she returned from London after completing her studies, he faked himself to be a nice gentleman in front of her. He didn't like Tupur, she was just like a servant to him who would do all his work.
He always thought that because of Anirudh, Bondita had left him and thus he tried multiple ways to separate them and also succeeded in it . He was very happy when he witnessed Anirudh ignoring her.
When Anirudh said Bondita that there is no relation between them and he had only fulfilled his responsibility which he had taken eight years ago, Bondita was devastated. She couldn't believe that the person who never wanted tears in her eyes is now himself giving her tears. Still, she tried to talk to him. However, Chandrachood's happiness was boundless, He felt peace whenever he saw Bondita in pain. He had planned that when Bondita's heart will be filled with hatred for Anirudh, He would make Bondita his.
The days were passing with full of sadness for Bondita and somewhere she was losing hope for getting back the same Anirudh whom she had left 8 years ago.
One day Bondita looked outside the window. The sky was tar-black and the large clouds were moving. She heard a tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter. People ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the clouds spat out their beads of water. Puddles began plinking as the rainfall became heavier. She could hear the murmuring of the rain through the window. It sounded like the buzzing of angry bees. But this time she didn't went out to get drenched in rain. She was not getting good or happy vibes from the weather. The Das family had gone to Vrindawan for the upcoming ekadashi pooja and decided to stay there for a week. Bondita denied the proposal stating that she has work in the court.
She was all alone at the house when she suddenly heard footsteps approaching towards her room. She was scared and asked who was there. Getting no response she thought herself hallucinating things. After few minutes, she heard the same footsteps again, this time a bit louder. She was frightened and started sweating. She heard the door of her room closing behind, but she didn't turn. She asked the same question again and again. Suddenly, she felt cold hands on her bare back. She shivered at this touch and turned around only to see Chandrachood with an evil smile on his face.
'Yeh, kiya kar rahe ho Chandrachood? Aur tum yahan kaise aaye, tum to Vrindawan gaye the?', said Bondita jerking off his hands.
'Wahi kar raha hun jo pichhle aath saalon se karna chahta tha. Sahi kaha tumne, Main Virandawan zaroor gya tha, lekin kiya hain na wahan se zeyada zaroori kaam yahan hain mere liye.' said Chandrachood.
'Kehna kiya chahte ho tum? Aur yahan aisa kiya zaroori kaam hai?', asked Bondita.
'Tumhe aapna banane aaya hun, Aath saal pehle yeh kaam mera adhoora reh gya tha, Aur tum to jaanti hi ho Main koi bhi kaam adhoora nahi chhodta.' said Chandrachood.
