"How come you haven't found her yet?" Fury yelled in frustration and slammed his fist on the table. "Well when we got to the jeweler store she was already gone, even the police didn't see her" Natasha started. "Yes, and no evidence has been found either" Clint continued. "She is like a ghost, disappears without a trace," Banner said. "Nobody is a ghost unless he's dead doctor" Fury reacted angrily "Put the fire out again Fury" Tony responded to which Fury looked at him angrily to have him shut up. "We just have to come up with another plan, you've only put us on this job for two days director, give us some time" said Steve, whereupon Fury calmed down a bit and agreed "I'll be out for a while, let me know when you find her" Fury said and walked away.

"If we don't find her soon, we're going to have a real problem with Fury" Bucky said. "Yes, you are certainly right Bucky" replied Sam. "okay, so what's the plan?" asks James. "We know she's fast, so I think we should observe," Steve says "And then?, have a drink and see how it goes?" starts Tony sarcastic. "And what did you have in mind, we don't have any clue where she comes from or who she may be" Steve responds back. "I'm tapping all the cameras around the jeweler store, she must have gotten away somehow and I'm going to follow her tracks. Bruce care to join me?" Tony said and walked out of the conference room.

Lynn Pov.

The rest of the week after the jeweler store I didn't go out in the evening and I went out to do something with my friends instead. I had the feeling that if I didn't show myself in the night that Black Widow and Hawkeye couldn't find any trace that could lead after me would disappear.

The Avengers Pov.

The Avengers were out every night for the rest of the week but didn't come across a single robbery, break-in or anything that gave away she helpt or that she was there.

They got the idea that she might have seen the avengers and that's why she didn't come out, but would she have something to hide?

Lynn Pov.

It was a new week and I knew I had to earn some money for the rent of the house.  I couldn't have a normal job next to my school. I mean full time school plus studying and earning money for the rent of the house and my school? then there are really too few hours in the week.  I called Nick, Nick is a friend of mine who works at a fight club FLUXX where I fight every once in a while to get my money together. Nick don't know who I really am, he only knows i'm coming to fight to earn some money.

It didn't take long for Nick to answer.  "Jo sweetheart where have you been all this time I haven't seen you in 3 weeks.  Do you want another fight?" he asked immediately.  "Hey Nick, if you can please," I replied.  "Come to the club at 8.30pm and I'll get you some fights."  After making the  appointment, I hung up the phone and walked home.  It was a Monday so I just got home from school.  "Lynn hold on" Andrea shouted.  I turned and Andrea and the other girls walked towards me.  "Will you come with us again today?"  they asked,  but I indicated that I could not, they were sorry but accepted it. When I got home I prepared food and a shake and changed into my club fight gear, put my contact lenses in and grabbed my mask and wig that I always had on under my hood and got ready for tonight's battles.

Around 8.20pm I arrived at the club and already saw Nick waiting for me.  When he sees me he gives me a hug that I don't really like, but ok.  "I missed you Shadow" he said.  Shadow is my fighting name.  Like everyone in this club we all have a name so if the police come in and see the names on the list they don't know who is who and can't find us and can't snitch on each other.  "Okay, I have four fights for you tonight" he started looking at me in the eye "Will you be ok?, or is it to much?" he asked at last a little worried.
